Made in the Philippines (stamped on inside of shoes). DESCRIPTION, AGE AND MATERIAL IS APPROXIMATE. BASED ON GENERAL RESEARCH. Comes with a cute lace dress, bloomers. Hat, shoes and umbrella. The shoes are the only original piece of clothing. The rest was added later. Pretty good condition for its age. A few small cracks present. From smoke/pet free home. An outstanding, characterful & rare early to mid 19th century pine one piece corner cabinet having two panelled doors both with working locks and keys, two fixed shelves in the top part and one fixed shelf in the bottom part, original hinges, original mouldings to the top, middle, bottom and both sides and original back panels with period steel banding. Dimensions: 102cm wide; 60cm deep;187cm high; 73.5cm from rear corner to front (along wall). In good strong condition, does have many marks and imperfections commensurate with age but these only add to its tremendous character. Just been hand prepared and waxed to a beautiful colour and finish. Customer collection now possible under the recently revised regulations. DELIVERIES DURING THE CURRENT PANDEMIC. Is this rare straw splitter. Used to split straw for plaiting. Dates to the early part of the 19th century. Made from a dark wood with five holes for cutting. All 5 holes would have originally had fins to cut the straw into different thicknesses. This splitter can split straw into 3, 4, 5 and 6 strands. The fins are missing from one of the holes. Century circa 1810 solid bronze Italian Grand tour sculptures of winged Sphinxes. There are multiple high definition super-sized pictures at the bottom of this page. This pair are magnificent, they are and original pair and have been together for the best part of 200 years, they are free from damage, everything is present and correct. One of the bases has been restored and a new piece of timber applied. Height:- 8.9cm. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask.
