Welcome to my offer. Early ALUMINIUM made in Germany. I offer you here a rarity obiect from the period of early industrialization of the German Gründerzeit (Historism). The candlestick is depicted in the form of a winged mermaid and was made of the metal aluminum cast. The candlestick is then finished with a lacquered patina, typical of the gloomy ambience of historicism, following the taste of the time. The candlestick is in good used condition, with clear traces of use in the patina (scratches), see photos. The unique item is not marked. A truly museum piece of contemporary history. A beautiful collector’s timedocument for your Collection. At the World Exhibition in Paris in 1867, the first time products of new metal aluminum were shown, and received with great interest by the public, but the products at that time were still much more expensive than Gold, because for the process of production still a very high technical and energetic process had to be operated. Absolutely pristine condition, which is rare for an art object over a hundred years old. It is a classic central European Art Nouveau design with flowers and thistle leaves. The letter “N” means that it was silverplated over brass. Acquired in an art gallery in Europe, it is a rare find for a Fraget-manufactured object and even rarer to be in perfect condition, without any wear or tarnish. Measurements: 12 ¼ x 5 ¼ inch (32 x 19 cm). Item Weight: 406 grams.

This is a rare pair of antique bisque porcelain cherub angel holding urn candlestick holders. The unit type is a unit, with a country/region of origin in Occupied Japan. The color is multi-color with original and authentic Victorian style. The material used is bisque porcelain, with a maker of Ardalt. It is a great addition to any antique collection, perfect for home decor, or a thoughtful gift for antique lovers. They have a fantastic details. All trimmed out in gold. The urns hold a taper candle and also be used for a faux plant. They are great mantle pieces or accent pieces for any room. The cherubs have a soft look to the faces, hair and eyes. The dimensions are about 16 X 5.5 X 4.5. One statue has a couple of tiny chips. One is on the front flower another one is on the bottom and the last one is on the bottom of the urn rim. Rare EARLY ANTIQUE PEWTER CANDLESTICK – 18TH CENTURY-GEORGIAN. Absolutely lovely rare early Georgian pewter candlestick, the photos do not do it justice this is a rare survivor for the age of it. As you can see there is slight damage on one side of it however this has been done along time ago and does effect use of this item if you wish to use it. Candlestick stands 8 inches high, with a 3.75 inch diameter base a 3.5 inch diameter middle and a 2.5 inch diameter top which has fitting for a candle. Item is made of a heavy gauge pewter and is around 230-250 years old.
