RARE LENOX SOAP EARLY 20TH CENTURY AME RI CAN ANTIQUE BLACK INK STAMPED SIDEWALL GRAPHIC ICONOGRAPHY, WOOD BOX ADVERTISING CRATE, with NATURAL DRY, MATTE ORIGINAL WOOD SURFACES, by PROCTOR & GAMBLE, CINCINNATI, OHIO. [Featuring Proctor & Gamble’s crescent moon hallmark]. Early 20th century Ame ri can antique wood box advertising crates & soap boxes. 8 14″ Height x 15 12″ Depth x 19 Width. For sale is this incredible and absolutely untouched, original and completely authentic, Proctor and Gamble of Cincinnati, Ohio, early 20th century vintage Lenox Soap wood crate advertising box, featuring black ink stamped sidewall graphic iconography on two long and one short sidewalls, early nailed corners and a wood plank floor. The black ink is original and still largely saturated and opaque. The wood surfaces haven’t been lacquered or varnished and have a matte, dry finish. There’s only the slightest bit of wood loss along the top right corner of one of the long wooden sidewalls. This amounts to what would be best described as a sliver of wood and not a chunk. The wood has naturally aged patina and its wood cover was pried off with a crow bar. The damage to the long sidewall most likely occurred when the wood box crate was initially opened. One long sidewall has great graphics with a hand holding a bar of Lenox soap. The short sidewall has the Proctor and Gamble crescent moon hallmark stamped on it. This is a very scarce double-sided Swan Soap primitive wood washboard. This creekboard measures approximately 21-3/4″ tall x 6-3/8″ wide x 3/4 thick. There is a small round metal piece on the top for hanging. It is well used, showing cracking in the wood and the details of the Swan Soap carving are still great for its age! Antique LUMINITE Backlit Early Advertising Display Products Rare Find

Ive not seen another like this & I cant find anything like it. Very interesting piece of early advertising in fabulous antique condition. Consists of a craved and paint decorated frame backed by a tin case where presumably a candle or gas light would back light the paper advertising in the frame. Bottom seems to have been removed as shown in photos, Im guessing to allow it to be used on an electric light. Measures about 17.25 tall, 14.75 wide and roughly 7-8 deep. Comes with paper ad as found. An interesting, collectible and functional piece of early advertising. Please get them approved before purchasing. Any questions must be answered before the sale. An original early vintage enamel RSPCA dogs water bowl. A seldom seen & charming piece of history which would have been chained up outside a newsagents or shop for passing dogs to drink from, in pressed metal & blue & white enamel. Wear commensurate with age, the bowl has a very naive repair inside & is priced accordingly the hole which has been repaired is a fraction of the size of the repair so one would assume it was done with function in mind rather than asthetics! Vintage Antique Early 1900s LADIES ENTRANCE Restaurant Tavern Advertising Sign is made of Painted Steel and measures approximately 27 3/8 by 9 by 14 3/4 (24 1/2 including hanger). Sign shows age and wear (see photos). Some Steel is missing. The broken neon tubing has been removed. One hanger is missing. Great restoration project or leave it as is. Sign hung outside a Restaurant in Scranton, Pa. Sign harkens back to a time in America where proper women were not to be seen entering a bar.
