Very rare piece of history when tea was very expensive and only the head house keeper would have the key to open this. This is 7 3/4″ tall x 8 3/4″ wide. There is one rivet missing on the brass trim. 18 1/2″ X 15″ X 5 is this rare early original Pullman sink. Manufactured by Alfred B Sands and son, consisting of a wooden enclosure perhaps cherry? , with what appears to be nickel plated fixtures within, appears to be complete but will perhaps need restoration, for the plating is worn or chipping to go along with some dents, and also the seals are reasonable to assume deteriorated, also the wood pump handle has a crack view pics. THE LAMP HAD BEEN BADLY OVERPAINTED WITH THICK INDUSTRIAL PAINT. THE LAMP HAS BEEN STRIPPED AND FULLY RESTORED. THE PAINTWORK HAS BEEN REFRESHED IN MATT OLIVE GREEN (COMPLIMENTS THE BRASS ARMS). SOME LIGHT SCUFFING OF THE PAINT ON THE FORK (SEE PIC 12). THE SHADE IS FREE OF ANY MAJOR DENTS (A COUPLE OF SMALL PINHEAD CREASES). Early RARE- Antique- Primitive Wooden Gameboard. Definitely unique and one of a kind game board. Could have been used for some type of marble game- the little round groove holes could have been used to keep the marbles in place without rolling around. There are 100 holes- numbered in red 1 thru 100. The board folds in half with the use of hinges (which are in good condition) on the right side you can see a couple age cracks (shown) but nothing serious. Overall dimensions are 14 1/2 long x 12 1/2 wide x 5/8 thick. Would look great hanging on a wall or sits just fine standing up with it slightly folded. Early Alabama Ella Smith oil painted cloth doll RARE bare feet, wigged some TLC

Part of our , “American dolls” celebration. Here for your enjoyment and consideration is an extraordinarily, RARE very early all original, 22 tall, wigged and bare foot , antique oil painted, stockinette cloth ALABAMA BABY doll by Ella Smith of Roanoke, AL. Most of these hand painted dolls have only painted hair and painted shoes. She has tab-jointed shoulders and hips with individually stitched fingers and toes, applied ears, sturdy shaped legs and distinctively shaped derriere for sitting as well as the circular head seam (no painted hair) beneath her original, thick curly human hair wig. She also has originally painted, vivid blue eyes, lashes, brows and nicely shaped mouth and nose, painted arms and lower legs. From a private Virginia collection, she has been preserved in all her original clothing consisting of a fantastic antique, blue and white, sailor style, pinafore dress, shirt with blue collar and cuffs, matching blue and white sailor bonnet with buttons, undershirt and lace camisole, pantalettes, original blue & white knit stockings and leather shoes with side button closures. She has had no repairs or repaint and no touch-ups although she does have the commonly found age split to one side of her face and wear to her shoes as shown. She has no odors or fading and is from a smoke free home. Her clothing is in excellent condition with no stains or tears, no repairs and no fading. Her very own small Alabama baby doll is NOT included and will be listed separately. See page 20, 16th Blue Book-Foulke. It is believed that her wig and antique locket are from her first owner.
