SCARCE 1930’S SCHUCO GERMANY GNOME PINK JACKET PERFUME BOTTLE. Hard to find figural perfume bottle measures 5.25″ tall x 2″ wide and is a fully jointed Gnome with removeable head which houses an original cork topped glass perfume vial. Piece is fashioned as a jaunty Gnome in pink top with black trousers. Light normal age/use wear evidenced…. Excellent clean sound original condition otherwise… Very nice and clean overall for age, please see all photos closely as they are part of my description. Very rare Skeleton Telephone m anufactured by the English Peel Conner Telephone Works P. W around year 1905. It is one of the most beautiful type of skeleton telephone. The telephone had been restored to the original factory condition. Most brass parts had been re-nickel plated or polished. The handset rattlesnake 4 cloth cord is in good condition as well as the rattlesnake 6 way line cloth cord. Legs floral transfer are in great original condition. Dates to right about 1931 to 1932, with a real early Deco silhouette that looks different from every angle. Supple and buttery black French felt with a velour finish, drapes around the face like a halo from the front, with drooping folding sides reminiscent of the late 1920s cloches. Black silk ribbon around the crown. Perfect as ti is, Lilly has added only a carved bright butterscotch bakelite leaf brooch/clip which can be moved to any position that suits the fancy. Early hats from Dache’ are extremely rare, most museums do not even have one. Sits on the back of the head and fits most lady’s heads, very comfy to wear. Label is Lilly Dache’, Paris New York, 485 Madison Avenue, NY. A simple shape that captures a moment in millinery fashion of the very early 1930s. This is to be fair to all interested buyers.
