This is a rare 9 inch cloth Worsted Doll made in Gotha Thuringia, Germany by Emil Wittzack. Emil started making these dolls in 1878. Made of needle stitched cotton stockinette, needle sculpted features, bead eyes and embroidered designs on his body. Condition: Darkened a bit over time, and a tear over his left knee, but not leaking. Minor issue on the foot. Please take a look at my other items and message me with any questions. Early Rare Crow Indian Pipe Tomahawk Forged Spontoon Head Gun Barrel Bowl 1780

The pipe tomahawk is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage. Spontoon style head patterned after the pike heads of the Spanish Conquistadors and explorers. Nice head forged from the barrel of a gun. Octagonal barrel and rifling inside. Looking closely, you will see the seam where the hardened bit was forged in to the shoulder of the tomahawk, commonly called a lap weld or lap seam. A good sign of authenticity and age. Walnut wood haft is original to the head. The brass tacks are original old square shank tacks. All along the haft are many ceremonial file branding marks made by placing a file or rasp in the fire until it was bright red and then burning the file into the haft. This was done for aesthetic “looks” and ceremonial purposes. There is a drilled hole for attaching drops or beads. The head is ever so slightly loose, the result of the wood drying and shrinking over the course of 170 years. A hide or leather gasket is seen between the eye and head. VERY NICE patina all over, really shows its age! The unusual style head is very desirable. Conservatively dated to 1780 but may be earlier. The haft of the tomahawk is measuring 21.5″ long and the head is measuring about 8.5″ long. Please ask any questions you may have. Thank you so much for looking! Some roughness and fleabites around the bottom rim, commensurate with age. Minor areas of paint loss. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. Completely original condition with trolley earthing point and plaque. Rewired in 3 core braided cable and earthed correctly. Despite the lamp being in full working order it has not been PAT tested and it will be solely up to the new purchaser to obtain one where required. Stool is tight and solid with wear and tear conducive to its age (see pics), maintains scratches no breaks or mends. Original patina intact, slight concaved seat that shows signs of perhaps water stains (could use a refinish or proper treatment). Experimental box – 27 x 37 cm/high 13 cm – 10.6 x 14.5 inch/ high 5,1 inch. Box with two batteries, motor, three tubes, two light bulbs – as seen on pics.. Geissler tube rotator in fine working condition – made by Pericaud around 1890. 11,5 x 8 cm/ high 12 cm – 4.5 x 3.1/high 4,7 inch – working with 4-6 V DC. Three geissler tubes in working condition 9/10/14 cm- 3.5/3.9/5.5 inch. Induction coil in good working condition base 11.5 x 6 cm – 4.5 x 2.4 inch – working 5 Amp, 4 V DC. Small lamp with two light bulbs – working from 4- 12 V. Very nice machine after Emil Stöhrer around 1880 in desirable size – 30 x 11.5 high 29 cm. 11.8 x 4.5 high 11.4 inch. Emil Stöhrer was a very important german inventor who drove 1842!!!! Already the first electric. He improved several electromagnetic machines like the one for sale. The Stöhrer machine is the same area as the Clark machine but is different regarding. The way the armature is crossing the permanent magnet! This is a private sale.
