Antique Cast Iron Skillet Gate Mark Early 1800’s Ornate Handle Spout Rare #7. Outstanding Early to Mid-19th century crude casting, iron skillet with early foundry long gate mark, unusual single pour spout, highly embossed size number 7 and fancy molded handle. Top reinforced rim measures 9 inches in diameter, standing 1 7/8 inches tall. Base measures 7 3/4 inches in diameter. It measures 14 inches from the end of its handle, across the pan. Its weight is 2 pounds 12 ounces. This is a well cared for skillet in excellent condition. There is no sign of warping. There are a few small chips (Shown in photo), but no cracks or rust. Antique Early 1930S SCHUCO DONALD DUCK Tin Wind Up Hand Painted Toy VERY RARE

Very rare Schuco Donald Duck Figure. Early pre-WW2 Schuco production. Featuring a Donald Duck style duck figure. Made of tin hand painted in beige, green and orange to beak. He is wearing a felt jacket and carries a cane and a backpack. Also a piece of felt as tail. He is about 5 3/4 inches tall. Wind up mechanism makes him waddle, open and close his beak, and produce a squeaking sound thanks to a bellow inside his beak. This type of early Schuco ducks are very rare, but this combination of green paint with green jacket and walking stick is super rare. Original paint with no touchups. Felt clothes are in very good condition with no damage. Clockwork mechanism works and he squeaks no problem. He is missing a small round hat. Antique Rare Velvet Whippet dog. French, Glass eyes, Stitched nose and mouth, leather collar with metal studs. Has amazing detailing on eye markings, whisker markings, paws have toe markings, has colored spots. Amazing condition for its age. Has thinning velvet spots on backsee photos and one small hole under the right underarm(see photos). See photos for full used condition. He measures 8 3/4 inches tall to top of ear and 5 inches wide to end of tail Have not seen a whippet dog like this other than this dog and my other listing VERY RARE. This listing is for. An exquisite and large antique screen of the early 19th Century, circa 1840. Fine and extremely rare. Four 18th century portraits, oil on canvas. Images below each portrait show flora, birds and a dolphin within Rococo scrolling. The back of the screen is relatively plain with minor floral motifs on a plain background. Provenance: Ayton Castle, Berwickshire. Each panel measures 26″ wide x 72″ high. Size overall: 72″ high x 104″ wide when fully open. Condition: VERY GOOD and without any major damage – could be improved upon with a suitable binding around each panel; two portraits have repairs across their torsos; the reverse shows marks. Please study the images closely… And more images can be supplied on request. Would make a super decoration for a wall; or displayed behind a bed; or in a large bathroom or dressing room or bedroom. AND MAY VERY WELL BE A IMPERIAL WORKSHOP MADE VASE AS THE WORK MATCHES TOP CRAFTSMAN’S WORK WITH LAYERS OF ART EVIDENT. THE TONING OF THE BRONZE IS OF FLASHY STYLE GREAT TIME AND CARE WERE PUT INTO THE PRODUCTION OF THIS WORK. AND WITH IT’S PROVENCE COMING FROM A BEIJING ANTIQUE SHOP MANY YEARS AGO IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE AS TO HOW WE WERE ABLE TO RETRIEVE SUCH A RARITY. GOTHEBORG MENTIONS THE 4 CHARACTER MARK IN THE “QIANLONG” ERA AND WHEN USED MENT OF IMPERIAL NATURE OR GREAT IMPORTANCE MOST IF NOT ALL OF THE TIME. I INDEED DID DO MORE RESEARCH AND FOUND A SIMILAR MARK THAT DATES MUCH EARLIER THAN EARLY REPUBLIC. RASIED EXTERIOR ON OLDER CHINESE PIECES ARE VERY HIGH IN VALUE AND IMPORTANT. THIS IS DUE TO THE PIECE MOST LIKELY BEING IMPERIAL WORKSHOP MADE GOTHEBORG MENTIONS THIS ALSO. I WOULD LIKE TO STATE THAT THIS PIECE IS ONE OF THE TWO ERA’S BOTH BEING HIGHLY COLLECTED WE JUST ARE NOT SURE WHICH ONE AS BOTH HAVE SIMILAR MARKS. WE ASK THAT YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH ALSO AS IT IS WELL DESERVED FOR SUCH A PIECE. THE SIZE & AMOUNT OF ARTISTRY, THE RAISED FLORAL DEPICTIONS ALL POINT TO IMPERIAL WORKSHOP DOING. THE NECK IS VERY UNIQUE AND IS CARVED IN A WAY TO EXPLOIT A ROYAL ANCIENT TECHNIQUE VERY SURREAL. LOOKING AT THE TOP PHOTO IS DEPICTED SCRAPING ECT TO FORM OR SMOOTHEN THE TEXTURE. THE BOTTOM MARK READS BASICALLY MADE IN QIANLONG OF QING DYNASTY BUT THERE IS A UNIQUE ADDITIVE SEEMINGLY. THE TOP LEFT CHARACTER ACTUALLY BRINGS “QIANLONG NIAN ZHI” TENTATIVE DATE EARLY REPUBLIC ACCORDING TO GOTHEBORG RECORDS INTO THE PICTURE. BUT WHEN FACTORING IN THE ADVANCED AGED LOOK AND MARKINGS IT ALSO COULD BE ASSUMED AS AN IMPERIAL MADE PIECE YUZHI QIANLONG EMPEROR BY COMMAND. MANY BEIJING SHOPS OFFER COMPLETE FAKES NOW A DAYS. MOST ANTIQUE BEIJING SHOPS FROM THE OLD DAYS WERE ABOUT REAL QUALITY WORKS. ONES THAT WERE MENT TO STAND FOR MEANING AND RESPECT TO THE EFFORTS PUT INTO MAKING THE PIECE CHINESE WORTHY. NOW WE SHALL RETURN TO THE SCARCENESS OF THIS VESSEL OR VASE. THE VASE IS ALMOST IN DEDICATION TO THE KANGXI PERIOD AS FAR AS THE FLOWERS GO AND WHAT DETAIL.
