Posted by admin On February 14, 2024
Antique Vintage Extremely Rare Early 1900’s Chinese Sulphide Panda Paperweight. A lovely faceted cube paperweight depicting two pandas feeding in a bamboo forest. Viewable from all angles. 64mm(2.5″) x 51mm(2″) x 51mm(2) approx. There are a few minor blemishes to the paperweight commensurate with age. A small chip to one lower corner approx 6mm. One or two tiny nicks to edges only noticeable if you run your fingers over them. A couple of things that may look like damage but are flaws. Such as small air bubbles and a spot of paint in one corner. Overall a very nice paperweight in good condition for age. Great addition to any collection. Do inspect photos carefully as they form part of the description. And check out my other items.
RARE EARLY SPODE’S CAMILLA BLUE SOUP TUREEN & MATCHING 17 TRAY, c. 1891-1920
Posted by admin On February 14, 2024
Welcome to Antiques & Moore! THIS LISTING IS FOR A RARE ANTIQUE COPELAND SPODE’S “CAMILLA” BLUE PORCELAIN SOUP TUREEN WITH MATCHING 17 UNDERPLATE/TRAY, c. The soup tureen has embossed handles and the matching tray has matching embossed self-handles which are found on the earlier pieces. Marked “Spode’s “Camilla” Copeland, England”. This back stamp was used from 1891 to the early 1900’s. Tray also has incised Copeland “crown” stamp. Early pieces with this mark are considered rare and more desirable than those of newer production. Each piece of this lovely set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Tureen measures 13 1/4″ wide (including handles), 10 1/2″ wide (without handles), 8 3/4″ wide, 9 1/2″ high (including lid) and 6 high (to top of tureen without including lid). Tray (underplate) measures 16 1/2″ long, 12 1/2″ wide and 2 high. The “Camilla” pattern was originally issued in the mid-19th Century and has continued to remain popular and in production to this day. Certainly, the 19th Century pieces are the most desired and are hard to find today still in mint condition. We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible. We are happy to answer any questions and always appreciate your business!

A Rare Very Early Antique Noritake Twin Handled Lidded Floral Pastel Vase c1902. A beautiful and very rare, early Noritake twin-handled, lidded floral vase bearing the single blue Noritake Komura mark to the base, dating the vase to >1902. The vase is of a beautiful four-footed pedestal form with twin open-top handles and lid with pointed finial. The vase is intricately hand-decorated with pink, purple and yellow blossoms with foliage and beautiful gilt beading and scrollwork on a white and turquoise ground. A really wonderful, early collector’s item. The vase is in quite remarkable condition with no chips or cracks to the body even the handles are good!
