Rare 18th C. Early Colonial Coin Silver Rattail Dessert Spoon
Posted by admin On May 19, 2020
This rare and handsome piece remains in varying condition (please see condition report for specifics and exceptions), bears no monogram or erasure, and lays in wait for the collector! I have had so many inquiries about the hallmark. I took this to Skinner Auctions and they immediately identified it as James Geddy. They do not do authentications unless you pay. I have finally located their source. Many have not because it is under the name James Geddes-same person son of gunsmith James Geddes of Williamsburg Va. Please scroll through the photos until you come across the Ensko Guide to American Silversmiths- a must have reference for early coin. Decide for yourself please. Length: 6 1/4in (16cm). RARE PAIR OF EARLY KAISER IDELL 6551 LAMPS. 1920’s ART DECO / BAUHAUS DESIGN CLASSIC. DESIGNED BY CHRISTIAN DELL, HEAD OF METALWORK AT THE BAUHAUS. THE DESIGN IS THE PERFECT BLEND BETWEEN FORM AND FUNCTION, TYPICAL OF THE PERIOD. THE LAMPS ARE EARLY POST WAR MODELS (STAMPED KAISER IDELL NOT THE EARLIER JDELL MARK) WITH THE SILVER INTERIOR TO THE SHADES (NOT THE LATER WHITE/CREAM). THE LAMPS ARE IN GREAT OVERALL CONDITION. THE PAINTWORK IS A MUTED, SATIN BLACK. THE INTERIORS OF THE SHADES HAVE AN AGED PATINA. ONE LAMP HAS A VENT HOLE IN THE SIDE OF THE SHADE (SEE PIC 10), WHICH IS OFTEN FOUND IN MANY OF THE EARLY LAMPS. THE SAME LAMP HAS A FELT-COVERED, PLASTIC BASE PLATE, AS THE ORIGINAL METAL ONE HAD RUSTED AND BROKEN APART (SEE PIC 12). IT IS ALSO EARTHED THROUGH ITS BASE (LITTLE BUMP ON THE SURFACE OF THE BASE WHICH IS THE END OF THE SCREW, SEE PIC 11). BOTH LAMPS WERE REWIRED SOME YEARS AGO TO UK STANDARDS. Rare and early, articulating, doll body by Jumeau EJ. Circa 1876
Posted by admin On May 17, 2020
Head, clothes, shoes and a wig are not for sale. Rare and early, articulating, doll body by Jumeau EJ. The body is made of wood and papier-mache. Very beautiful and detailed body in excellent condition. Special attention should be paid to the hands, they are straight wrist, without a hinge. On the arms and legs of the doll are ball joints, allowing the doll to take different positions. Body height – 37 cm. All the details in the photo. I have indicated all sizes in centimeters. You can see on the last photos in the listing. I showed the growth of the body itself, and separately the height of the head. Now the body does not have a native head, but the head that is installed on the body looks good (see photos 1 and 3) The visible part of the head in the neck has 10 cm. The part that is immersed in the body has 2 centimeters, that is, it is immersed all the way down the hole. In photo 4, the growth of the body is separate. With a head of this size, the doll looks proportionate, and natural. If your head has the same dimensions around the circumference, as well as the dimensions of the neck (in diameter and height), then this body will suit you. Stand not for sale. The cost of departure, I specify in my ads. If you prefer a different way to send, then you need to let me know. If the cost of the method you choose is higher than the amount I indicated in the ad, then you will need to pay the difference. As soon as the parcel is sent, you get a tracker by which you can track your package. Very rarely there are cases when the postal service has force majeure circumstances, and the parcel is delayed. My fault is not in this, and I ask you to take this into account in your review, which you want to leave to me. The goods are accepted for return or replacement if the following conditions are met. That is, the product must fully comply with the description, and a photo from listing. The product should not be opened if it had a closed, original packaging. The item “Rare and early, articulating, doll body by Jumeau EJ. Circa 1876″ is in sale since Friday, March 13, 2020. This item is in the category “Dolls & Bears\Dolls\Antique (Pre-1930)\Papier-Mache”. The seller is “arcusvita” and is located in Chisinau. This item can be shipped worldwide.

Imagine these two antique Chinese table lamps inviting you, family and friends to sit down and make themselves comfortable. They simply will not disappoint. Incredible artisanry and craft is on display here and nobody perhaps in the history of the ceramic arts, and there are many notable practitioners, have made ceramic art quite like the Chinese, with over thousands of years of artistic production experience, honing their craft and elevating their ceramic art. A gift from the gods to us mere mortals, still residing here on Earth. A veritable’hold-your-breath,’ traffic stopping artifact. Exquisite and very rare.
