Rare Early Modernist 1931 Steel Lounge Armchair by PEL, Oliver Bernard chair

This very early and rare chair (model no: RP2) was probably designed by the British modernist architect Oliver Bernard, the father of writer and journalist Geoffrey Bernard. It was manufactured by PEL (Production Equipment Limited) using revolutionary materials and techniques in the early 1930s. It retains its brass makers label. This information is from the Design Council’s records for PEL furniture. The condition is very good with little wear or rust/pitting to the chrome and it has been partially recovered in new matching black vinyl on the seat and arms. The reverse of the back shows signs of wear in the usual places and some of the springs have been replaced using ones of the correct age and style. See pictures for condition. Cm x depth 83cm. Our Very Rare antique steiff teddy Petsy bear is absolutely gorgeous! She is GERMAN MOHAIR BLUE-EYED “PETSY” BEAR BY STEIFF. Blond mohair distinctively-modeled bear was designed as a baby cub bear, having center seam with elongated nose, stitched light brown nose tip, grand-sized with very rare beautiful blue glass eyes, elongated arms with shoulder disc jointing, hip disc jointing felt paw pads with no holes With original Steiff underscore button in ear. Some thinning of mohair around muzzle and Body in general and sadly the growler inside doesnt work! German Steiff, marketed as Petsy and with unique facial modeling and grand eyes was introduced in 1928, and is very rare. We are looking for a lovely home for Petsy and we hope youd love her as much as we have done! The white and blue collar is not original and can be taken off, but it really suits her. Very Rare Antique Victorian Late 1800s to early 1900s hardwood & Stropped Leather Cosh. Approx length: 33cm x 48mm diameter of Cosh head. Attached is a leather strop to the head of the cosh to give it swing, it does have a few small tears and stitching loose however still reasonably secure. Wood does have the inevitable dings and scratches due to historical use. Beautifully wood turned ornate shape & good strong solid hardwood. Please see photos for more visual details. RARE Early STEIFF Antique 9 Long Mohair JOINTED TEDDY BEAR Hump Back with Growler

Early Antique Steiff Teddy Bear. Presented for your consideration is this antique teddy bear. The bear could be an early Steiff or something else, we are not sure. It has a jointed body with long blond mohair, tan pads and embroidered nose and claws. The bear is completed with glass eyes and is stuffed with straw. It has a hump back with a growler inside of the belly. The growler can be felt but unfortunately is no longer working. The body is jointed at the legs, arms and head. All joints move with ease. The button in ear tag is missing but the original red embroidering is still in the ear where the button would have been. The bear comes from a CLEAN, SMOKE FREE environment. This RARE early teddy bear would make a great addition to any stuffed animal or Steiff collection! Some wear is on the pads of the feet and hands. As previously stated the growler is no longer working and the button in ear tag is missing. A very small tear is in one of the hands. Otherwise the bear is free of rips and tears. Light wear from age and play. Overall in VERY GOOD condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details. Measures 5″ from hand to hand, 3″ from the front of the nose to the back of the head and 9 tall. These charges are the buyers responsibility.
