Lovely French bisque headed fully jointed doll c 1880. Beautiful fixed blue paperweight eyes. Open mouth with teeth. With her original silk dress/ coat and under petticoat matching silk hat, blond wig, cork pate. Approx 21 tall. In v good condition a few scuffs on wood and gesso composition body. Two very small eye chips see photos. The m ark on back of neck is C. Then depose then i think L 9 C. I will send tracked overseas please ask for quote.

Rare Early Set Handmade Tall Antique Wrought Iron Cob-Andiron Fire Dogs Andirons. Acquired over 40 years ago from a Period 16th Century Black and White Timber Framed Cottage near Evesham Worcester. Lovely heavy pair with all hand forged parts and joints. Good looking nicely proportioned set with forged patterns to the front splayed feet. Certainly one of a kind. Sizes: Each 30″ (76cm) high x 22″ (56cm) deep x 10 (25cm) wide at the base.

This is an exceptionally rare pair of Large Early 19th century Period Polychrome Painted. Carved Asian Stallion Horses with Mughal Warrior Riders. The magnificent, original and unrestored pieces portray a male and female Mughal Warrior Rider, each wearing an Indian Turban, with a pair of ancient-style earrings and carrying a sword on each side. Form, both of the horses and riders are of a stunning patination and each retains remnants of the original paint and pigmentation colours throughout. The horses retain their original Reins, original Bridles and their original Saddles. These period pieces are rare, they are on a grand country house scale, and they both date to at least the early part of the 19th century, and very possibly much earlier! Provenance: Direct from a private collection. Completely original and unrestored. Retaining remnants of the original paint and pigmentation. There are aged-related wood splits in places and a partly broken sword – see images. Ready to be enjoyed immediately. According to the typology of the tool, its weathering and context of discover, this tool may date back to the first half of the Mousterian period. Tool: rare, beautiful Early Mousterian Point, the iconic Multitask tool, knapped by our ancestor Homo Neanderthalensis at his beginnings, at the end of the Lower Paleolithic. Numerous marks of use and retouches visible. Material: Chalcedony + patina. Dimensions: 10,2 x 7,7 x 2,1 cm. Origin: Bergerac area, Dordogne, France.
