RARE ANTIQUE/ EARLY 20thC NECKLACE OF LARGE HEAVY OPALESCENT FOIL GLASS BEADS

This is a genuine antique or very early 20th century necklace of beautiful hand made heavy opalescent glass foil beads. The beads are irregular and have areas where they are slightly rough and have have indentations. The foil flows through each bead (not just on the surface like more modern ones). They have a wonderful golden fiery glow! They are on their original stringing. The clasp was broken so I have added another one. I have had them for a long time, and I have enjoyed wearing them. They are the older high choker length; if a longer necklace is desired then they could perhaps do with being professionally restrung with appropriate spacer beads. I do not often see foil glass beads of such high quality. The necklace is approximately 15 long and weighs just over 67g Please do also read the condition report and have a look at all the images, as they form part of the description. Very unusual and rare piece of Early American history! This tramp art frame is a great piece of folk art, with wooden hearts on each corner and splayed wooden pieces coming out from each side of the frame, each one hand carved. It is pretty deep, so it could have originally been used as a shadow box for a mourning wreath or something else. Hangs horizontally, but could be changed to hang vertically. Measurements: 17″ tall x 20″ wide x 2 deep. Inside of frame: 9.5″ x 6.5″. Condition: In as found condition. Will need a back, wire, and glass for framing. Also, missing half of one of the hearts. One of the pieces on the sides moves and it may be missing a decorative piece on the side, hard to tell. For its age, it is actually in pretty decent shape. Enamel Sign Smoke Muratti Cigarettes. Early enamel advertising sign dating from around the 1920/30’s. Displaying the stunning shadowed text and image/logo for Muratti. This is a very rare sign and not often seen especially in this condition. Light restoration has been very well done and not recent, excellent example for age. This enamel sign was by Bruton of Palmer’s Green. The Sign Measures 24″ x 19″ inches. This oval shaped collectable sign is one of the first to come on to the market as known in the last 5 years. RARE Early Antique PEWTER Double Handled EGG CARRIER HOLDER Ornate BIRD

Early Antique Egg Carrier. Presented for your consideration is this early egg carrier or holder. The carrier is made of pewter and features ornately designed handles on the sides as well as the top of the carrier. Top of the carrier has two flaps which open to reveal the removable, two tier egg holder. An ornate leaf pattern is on each of the four sides of the removable carrier and there are a dozen slots for eggs. The carrier easily slides in and out of the holder. The front side of the carrier has a small bird engraved into the middle. This early and hard to find egg carrier would make a wonderful addition to any pewter or kitchen item collection! A fun item to store eggs in! There are two holes in the bottom of the carrier but could be soldered. Flaps are bent inward, but not drastically, and the insert shows some bending on both tiers. Bottom edge of the front and back appears to have been repaired at one point. Typical light wear from age and use. Overall in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition.
