THIS CLASSIC VICTORIAN SCENT BOTTLE IS MADE OF FABULOUS RARE APPLE GREEN URANIUM GLASS WHICH WAS HAND PRESSED INTRICATE DESIGN BUT COMPARED TO MOST OF PERFUME BOTTLES THIS AGE IT HAS SURVIVED VERY WELL CONSIDERING. THIS DELIGHTFUL BOTTLE IS RARE INDEED BEING IN SUCH GREAT CONDITION AND WITH ORIGINAL GLASS STOPPER. VERY ATTRACTIVE UNUSUAL DIAMOND FLORAL DESIGN. BOTTLE IS OFFERED IN GREAT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS CRACKS OR FRACTURES TO THE GLASS BODY. Superb antique Baccarat Perfume Bottle C 1850 This bottle is not signed by maker, common for early Baccarat. This bottle is from my private collection, a favorite of mine. I have had it on display in my cabinet now for over 25 years. The glass is green vaseline and it glows like crazy even in regular daylight. All the pictures except one… Just a large picture window. The last picture shows this perfume bottle in a very dark room with just a small black tube light. Measurements= Approx 7 inches tall and almost 4 inches wide at the base. 2 oz There are 8 cut panels and a perfect trefoil Skirt. The mouth opening is rare to find with its extended flared panels cut out and a sharp outward pitched point in between each panels. The throat is factory polished on the inside… The bottom is even cut with panels that are scalloped at the ends. The top is colorless glass. It is one of the nicer tops you may see. It has some weight to it and feels wonderful in your hands. It features a very long and slender neck with a flat cut top and flat cut sides to round it out…. The bottom of the stopper is flat and polished and is numbered 39 There is one nick to a edge on the top… Located at the lower center edge. The bottle is not marked by any number or maker. The top fits very well and the stopper bottom portion fits all the way down to its neck as it should. This bottle is so fine… You may find similar bottles but they will come up short if compared to this fine bottle. CONDITION: MINT with the exception of the white speck and the nick on the stopper. Unless of course a mistake was made, such as missing something important that should have been pointed out. Other wise the return is void or partial return in some cases. Packing: I take pride in my packing…. I use a roomy sturdy box with plenty of packing materials, I double box unless its not needed. I pack so that you will have a easy time of unwrapping your item. RARE MUSEUM QUALITY EARLY 17th C. FLEMISH STAINED GLASS WINDOW SINGLE PANEL On this panel is depicted a gentleman Possibly in a Tavern. Holding in his right hand an early white clay pipe. He is most definitely well to do wearing his beautifully detailed finery. We call this panel. “GENT SMOKING A CLAY PIPE”. Condition is EXCELLENT, which is remarkable when one considers its age of 400 years. It will be very well packed. About the deveopments and styles of pipes. By the early part of the 17th century, the clay tobacco pipe industry began to develop in many local centres throughout Britain and in many parts of the Netherlands. These early pipes typically had a short stem with a large bore diameter and a small “acorn” shaped, rouletted bowl that angled away from the smoker. Rare PAIR Antique French Empire Marble Glass Vases. Stunning very rare quality pair of antique French Empire swirl glass marble. Beautifully decorated Napoleonic Empire style gilt brass/bronze mounts. They are not signed. Condition is generally very good and remarkable considering their age and still together as a pair… There are some tiny pieces missing on the gilt mounts around the body with the mounts on one vase been re-attached at some point and is about a 1/4 shorter with a small slither of glass missing near the base as shown… Very hard to tell unless very closely scrutinised. All as shown and does not detract in anyway as the photos show. They have a great aged patina with some rubbing, marking, scratches etc loss of gilt…. All nothing major, but noted. The pair measure overall 11″tall (one measures 10.75″) and 7″ across with a base diameter of 3.25″ and a top rim diameter of 3.5.
