Offering a beautiful pair of bears. I just fell in love with their personality. So please ask any questions you may have and I will try to answer them. This small bear is I believe chocolate which is a rarer color. He has a long ff button which trails- please check photos. He has 4 floss toes but 2 paws are missing floss toes. He has no hand pads which is how he came originally which I find quite lovely and rare. I see one hole in his foot pad and you can see wood wool. His face is just full of adorable personality! He has an old Roosevelt button. He has mohair loss. He makes me smile every day that I pass by him: Finances make me need to sell this cutie so in addition to getting a fabulous new bear friend, you’re also helping a widowed single mom in need. Rare and Early Georgian period Toy horses rocking horse antique toy collector

Set of Rare and Early Georgian Period Toy horses x 4 – suit rocking horse / antique toy collector display. Thought to be from the Georgian period and very possibly of solid body construction as per the Georgian rocking horses of this time. Wood & gesso with a gorgeous deep yellow patina to the shellac on all 4 of them. I just love the naiveness & simplicity these beautiful toys present. Dear little faces & outstretched legs typical of the period. They possibly could have started life on a platform as there is evidence of little stubs under some of the hooves. They are in overall good condition considering their age – albeit one or two slightly loose muscle blocks to inside under chest & some missing gesso & paint / loose harness in areas (can be reattached with care). Two of the horses come plain & two come harnessed – please see photos for their condition & the attention to detail on the harness which I find incredible. Each of the 4 horses is approx 14″ long by 10″ high. These are the only examples of toy horses in this Georgian style I have experienced or seen – after widely searching the web for similar & finding none. They are looking for an appreciative home to a new owner who appreciates their simplicity & English toy history. Collection in person also welcome. RARE EARLY VICTORIAN IRISH HAND CARVED GILT COMBINATION “ERIN GO BRAGH” WAX SEAL. This is a rare Stunning Georgian Irish Hand Carved Gilt Combination ERIN GO BRAGH Wax Seal, this i believe was crafted in Ireland c1838 making it around. 181 years old, this is a very special and Rare Georgian Irish Combination Wax Seal, the Handel is Beautifully Hand Carved with Baluster design Stem and Large Handle, the Handle also unscrews to reveal a Compartment inside the Handle and it screws nice and secure back onto the body of the Wax Seal. The Seal itself has Gold Gilt and is round in Shape, and what makes this Wax Seal even more special is the Seal with the words ERIN GO BRAGH which translate into Ireland Forever or Ireland to the End, it also has the Shamrock which is used as a Symbol of Ireland. This would have been owned by a Proud Irish Man or Woman in the Early Victorian Period, this really is a special and Unique one of a Kind Combination Wax Seal, and is in good condition with just light wear which is normal for the age of this Beautiful Wax Seal, this is a rare and Collectable Carved Handle Combination Irish Wax Seal. In time, the phrase became anglicised. By 1847, it was already in use as “Erin Go Bragh”. That year, a group of Irish volunteers, including U. Army deserters, joined the Mexican side in the.
