Hello and thank you for looking. One of my favorite toile designs! This textile is French and dates early 1800’s , c1815 This wonderful textile once hung as a bed curtain Stunning design! The tone of the toile has remained quite saturated in places and it has faded unevenly with time Gorgeous little cherubs!! This textile is hand stitched on all 4 edges and it’s backed in a very finely woven linen and cotton blend. There is one lovely hand woven hemp cord at the top where this textile once hung from a bed There is a very light cotton batting between the layers. It’s lightly quilted with a lovely diamond quilting design. A beautiful , beautiful toile! (please see my other textiles for more matching pieces to the set) (textile 26B). MEASUREMENTS : The wonderful antique toile measures : 21 inches wide by 92 inches long. CONDITION: This textile is in as found, unwashed condition with storage dust. Please view photographs which show the damage at the top and side edges! (please use the zoom feature to view condition closely) There are pale pepper marks (foxing) at the bottom of this textile on the back. All condition reflected in the price. Amber-colored cylin der-shaped antique patent’quack’ bottle that o riginally contained a HEROIN LACED medicine. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand B lown I nto M old bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating it back to the 1800’s. Bottle embossed : ” Glyco – Heroin /’SMITH’ “. Base of bottle embossed : MARTIN H. / CHEMISTS / NEW YORK. Condition : Bottle has overall wear and stain (patina) from age and use, and it has a shallow surfaced bubble. Overall it is an excellent solid bottle and these is nothing specifically wrong with it. NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. PLEASE see pictures for better idea of overall condition. Age : A ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. T hese bottle contained a patent medicine and one of the main ingredients in it was Heroin, Glyico Heroin. Heroin was used over a century ago as an ingredient in cough syrup, to suppress the cough and suppressing the discomfort that is associated with it. Yet it did much more than that as patients came to find out that they kept using the syrup long after the cough was gone. As they say,’Caution, may be habit forming’. To say the least! Heroin is one of the most addictive substances known to mankind. This is one of the very few antique bottles that we know of that actually has the word ” HEROIN ” embossed in the glass which makes it quite appealing. It is not a commonly found bottle and these are getting increasingly hard to f ind , especially in this PRISTINE CLEAN condition, check it out! Watch-alteration (mechanism from pocket closed gold watches of the beginning of the 20th century, and the case is made on Lenremchas in the 1920s-30s). The case is chrome-plated metal. The case diameter is 49mm. The dial is enamel. The clock, when the mechanism is fully wound, looks a little like it and stops. The hands are in place (the minute trib on the Central shaft has weakened). Balance node and angrenage are correct. YOU RECEIVE WHAT YOU SEE ON THE PHOTO. Up for your consideration is this beautiful antique folding large format camera with wood structure, marked TB Conley Safety on lens, Korona below lens, and 863 on bottom as shown, also comes with 6 film holders. The film holders are by Graflex and some are marked US Pat 1841480 2056144 4×5 Graphic Film. There is wear here and there from age but in good condition as photos show. Please ask questions if you have them. The camera measures 21 1/2 inches long by 9 3/4 inches tall by 8 inches wide. The film holders measure 6 7/8 inches by 4 3/4 inches by 5/8 of an inch each.
