ANTIQUE RARE BEBE EARLY PERIOD BLOCK LETTER FRANCOIS GAULTIER SIZE 4 -13,77 inch. Pressed bisque head of superb quality in perfect condition, no hairline, no restoration. The biscuit is really very pale. Splendid expression of the face, beautiful blue eyes very clear fixed enamel and ray. Ears pierced, mouth open / closed with the modeled tongue. The head is marked on the back engraved at the top of the skull F 4 G. Rest of blonde wig in mohair with its cap in pressed cork, all of origin. The head is mounted on its beautiful original body with 8 free balls in very good condition, fixed wrists. He is very well dressed in an antique bodice with a silk plastron lined with lace and a antique skirt with festoon, he wears antique underwears (long pants and petticoat), socks and shoes reported. This bébé Gaultier is 13.77 inches. Rare size, superb bébé! TRES BEAU ET RARE PETIT BEBE ANCIEN PREMIERE PERIODE BLOCK LETTER FRANCOIS GAULTIER TAILLE 4 (35 cm). Tête en biscuit pressé de superbe qualité en parfait état, sans fêle, sans restauration. Le biscuit est vraiment très pâle. Splendide expression du visage, beaux yeux bleus très clairs fixes en émail et à rayon. Oreilles percées, bouche ouverte / fermée avec la langue modelée. La tête est marquée à l’arrière en creux au sommet du crâne F 4 G. Reste de la perruque blonde en mohair avec son bonnet en liège pressé, le tout d’origine. La tête est montée sur son beau corps d’origine à 8 boules libres en très bon état, poignets fixes. Il est très bien habillé d’un corsage ancien avec un plastron de soie doublé de dentelle et d’une jupe ancienne à feston, il porte des sous-vêtements anciens (pantalon et jupon), des chaussettes et des chaussures rapportées. 17 Marie Cruchet French Fashion With Rare Body. The perfect pressed bisque head has no markings. The cobalt blue eyes are in their original plaster set. No cracks, chips or hairlines. There is a prominent mold line on right side of head. Original cork pate and original mohair wig. Fabulous and very rare body. Long bisque arms with tenon joints at shoulders. The kid leather is stretched over wood and is jointed at hips and knees and is in wonderful condition with no tears or patches. The leather is soft and supple and will last another 150 years. I have never seen this body before. The closest I have seen is the so-called “baggy pants” but this is much more complicated with no baggy leather. The middle finger on the right arm has been repaired. Lovely clothing as pictured and I believe the dress is original. The trim has all been hand sewn. 27 1/2 long is this original antique stamp signed LUPOT REX PROFESSIONAL violin bow. Frog consist of solid ebony, with mop inlaid eye to go along with the bottom strap and the adjuster knob. Notice the sharp bend to the tip, and the chamfered transfer from tip to shaft. I would say a 3/4 bow women or adolescent size? Needs to be restrung and obviously cleaned (rosin residue on frog and shaft) , for it is as I found it from an old Adirondack lodge Estate. Stamped Germany, for some reason Gretsch comes to my mind?
