Real nice antique German toy pull toy 14 inches elegant wooden horse off white color , all original with both leather ears , painted eyes , mane and tail real fur. On wooden platform with emblem and wooden wheels in good condition for more than 100 year toy. Overall very nice condition with some sign of age here and there on finish some surface use on horse and color but with great patina of age and vecu , as you can see no large damage but use of time. Here I present this early rare bit worn early Steiff brown Teddy Baby bear. He is fully jointed, head, arms and legs and has glass eyes. He wears a bell on leather cord around his neck, no Id. Good used vintage condition, with obvious signs age and wear to foot pads. Felt missing from one so cardboard piece affixed there, felt on other but in poor condition as shown. Mohair decent bit of thinning and matting but displays well still. Green spot on left hand pad. Tiny hole on right hand pad. Please view all photos carefully as they are part of my description. These early (circa 1890) Mason Decoy Company (Detroit, Michigan) pronounced snakey head examples are extremely rare and highly sought after by Mason decoy collectors. Russ Goldberger and Allan Haids excellent reference, Mason Decoys A Complete Pictorial Guide show a similar example (redhead) on page 44. In 20 years of collecting, I’ve only had a few of these. They are extremely stylish and show the artistry of this early and most collectible decoy company. With exception of the white speculums, this examples paint is worn but original. It is of utmost importance to have the most original paint possible on any old decoy and this one has over 90%. The left eye is missing as is the neck filler. Additionally adding the the rarity is the fact that this example is a broadbill (greater scaup) as opposed to the more commonly found bluebill (lesser scaup). Very Rare Large Stained Glass Cartoon (watercolour) of Angel and Young Boy framed. Very Rare Large Stained Glass Cartoon (watercolour) of Angel and Young Boy painted in the early 1900’s by William Arthur Chase as one of the designs for a church in Bristol (paper work accompanies the painting). A Chase was a noted stained glass maker and oil painter. His portraits are particularly fine and one of his wife entitled’the Keynote’ is in the Tate Gallery – now Tate Britain. This is a very rare large stained glass cartoon of the early 1900’s in wooden and glass frame. Condition good, some minor foxing. Light reflections in glass only. Height: 52.5 inches.
