Beautiful Rare All Original Antique S4h Simon & Halbig Early Shoulder Head Doll

BEAUTIFUL RARE ALL ORIGINAL ANTIQUE S4H SIMON & HALBIG EARLY SHOULDER HEAD DOLL. The Beauty of her Face is just exquisite. Her dainty painted facial feature are so detailed. The bisque of the Shoulder Head is very fine and smooth, with an even complexion tint which is paler than the later dolls. She has a cut away crown with high forehead. What makes her even rarer are her sleeping eyes, only a very few of the Early Shoulder Head S&H Dolls had weighted sleeping eyes. She has the beautiful blown glass blue two tone iris with threading to give a more natural look. Her eye shape is that of an Early Shoulder Head Doll, Almond Shape with the outer corner being tapered. Also noted the detail of the molding of the upper eyelid, which is an indication of an Early Shoulder Head Doll. With her thick painted eyelashes which gives an appearance of a bottom liner, to where they are extend outward to a fine dainty line. Her eyebrows are thick and long, and are set on the superciliary arch close to the eye cut, they are flat not molded which is another indicator of an Early Shoulder Head Simon & Halbig Doll. She is a closed mouth doll with pink lips and a darker red line separating her upper and lower lips, with slightly uplifting outer corners, creating a slightly shy smile. With light pink cheeks to enhance her lips. She has small dainty pierced ears with the piercing goes into the head with is another indication of an Early Doll. She retains her original blond mohair wig with attached cork pate. No hairlines, cracks or chips to head. She is a very Early Simon and Halbig with her Marker Mark incised on the front, S4H. Her arms are of porcelain to above the elbow, with gracefully cupped hands and separate thumb. No chips or breaks to fingers, her left hand appears to have lost it’s top finish as it is very shiny, not a distraction from it’s beauty. Appears to have a kid leather body with upper arms, and cloth legs. You may see the tear of the right foot in the picture. Dress, full slip and full onsie, corset and apron. Please note the shredding to the top of dress and apron. Missing one metal piece to the corset. It appears her original clothing have never been off her. Measurements: Height of total doll is approx. A RARE 19th CENTURY OLD ORIGINAL EARLY”CASH GROCERIES” SAND PAINT WOOD TRADE SIGN. A genuine original 1800s hanging groceries sign. This sign measures 47” x 18” x 1” and is double sided with each side reading different proprietors. The paint is early black sand paint with smooth silverish lettering having exceptional authentic age character. There is an old repair to a split along the length. Not too noticeable at all especially on the one side. The sign has the original early sign painters makers mark in the bottom middle of the one side. A very nice size for wall display. Antique Early 20th Century Whirligig Weathervane Working Rare Decorative item

For sale in this lot is a wonderful example of fully animated comical scene, working cast metal folk art weathervane whirligig dating circa 1920s. Both wind propellers work smoothly, and the main propeller once rotated begins the animated scene of the man on the main base hitting the donkey which kicks back his rear legs and in addition the women at the front of the donkey bents forward to pat his head. A truly wonderful kept item that has some great detail and craftsmanship as shown in the photos provided. The item has been mounted onto a thick hard wood board and waxed to give it a very decorative and artistic look. This is a complete original item and would make a wonderful addition to any serious collectors collection or add a great decorative look to any cool interior space. Size: L 30 x H 25 x D 10. Rare early Antique all Bisque French Mignonette Doll swivel neck sleep eyes 1880

For your consideration, I have a rare swivel neck with cobalt blue enamel sleep eyes in original set. Her only flaw is the chip in the top of her left leg. Early peg jointed arms and legs. There are two kinds of antique roses at her neck. The Antique cotton tulle bobble tambour. Lace has a touch of blush to it. The under dress is also rare lame silk and she has silk covered buttons. Her hat has a feather that of sets the color in her skirt. The silk ribbon in her hat is also very old. The hat is made out of tiny point de spirit lace and lavender silk ribbon with pink silk ribbon on the edge. She will bring joy to you every time you look at her. She was originally made from 1880 to 1899 in France or Germany. Thank you for looking. SPECTACULAR RARE EARLY 18TH CENTURY DUTCH MARQUETRY. MOON PHASE 2 BELLS 8 DAY WITH ALARM. The hood with caddy top and gilt flaming finial over the break-arch dial, the trunk with floral and foliate fruitwood marquetry and scrolling door with shaped lenticle with gilt bronze ormolu Rococo style mount depicting Chronos amongst C scrolls, raised on a bombe base with claw and ball feet, the brass break-arch dial with moonphase to the top and gilt Rococo style spandrels, the silvered Roman chapter ring with Arabic five minute markers, the gilt matted centred with subsidiary seconds dial and silvered name plate, with a central subsidiary alarm dial. The weight driven movement striking on two bells, with pendulum and two weights and crank winding key… The 13 inch brass dial having a painted moon roller in the arch above a silvered chapter ring engraved with foliate scrolls between the numerals. The matted centre incorporating a subsidiary seconds dial, calendar aperture and alarum, with a plaque inscribed W. Gib Rotterdam, ornamented with gilt spandrels to the corners. The caddy topped hood with shaped cavetto moulding centred by a carved parcel gilt ormolu crest and urn finial, and marquetried with trailing flowers; the dial flanked by gilded integral columns. The trunk having a shaped door with applied edge moulding, a carved scroll crest to the top and a glazed panel framed in a Rococo scrolling ormolu cartouche with decorative figural mount, inlaid with flowers, a bird and a butterfly and flanked by chequer banded canted sides. The marquetried bombe base raised on lion paw feet. 98 ins (250 cms) overall in height. THIS FINE CLOCK IS IN SPECTACULARLY GOOD CONDITION THROUGHOUT. William Gib Senior clockmaker/watchmaker. 2 Blaak, Rotterdam, Holland. William Gib was born in 1673 or 1674, either in Scotland or in England. He was a renowned maker of many good quality longcase clocks, wall clocks, bracket clocks and pocket watches. Around 1700 he was married to Anna Rommilius (also Romelius) in Rotterdam; the couple had 10 children. Between 1709 and 1735 Gib several times held the position of chairman of the St. From 1716 to his death Gib worked at Vissersdijk, Noordblaak in Rotterdam, where he had bought a house. His sons Willem and Pieter also became watch- and clockmakers in Rotterdam. S house was demolished in 1880, with only three memorial stones remaining in the gable of the museum. Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a gorgeous antique Pietra Dura hard stone inlaid on marble obelisk. This nice obelisk is made of black marble and features a panel with Pietra Dura hard stone inlay in a floral design with beautiful coloration in the stones. Measures 16 12″ high with the square base measuring 4 7/8″ in diameter. Weights 5.3 pounds. This unusual obelisk is in excellent Estate condition with only some small nicks in the marble as expected with items of this age. The flaws are minor no-harm nicks around the bottom edges otherwise the piece is in excellent condition. The Pietra Dura inlaid design is in excellent condition with no noted flaws. Extremely Rare Early Chinese Jade Stamp Featuring A Qilin

Qilin Mythical Creature Jade Stamp. Extra fine and extremely rare example of an early Chinese Jade stamp with a classic Qilin, or horned ridged backed scaled unicorn sitting atop. This example has a distinct segmented tapering horn that folds back from its forehead. Made of well patinated’Chicken Bone’ Jade. The carving on the bottom of the stamp is a mystery. The Qilin is known as a good omen thought to occasion prosperity or serenity. In legend, the Qilin first appeared in the 5th Century B. It is said that Emperor Wu of Han captured one in 122 B. From the weathered and aged surface appearance we believe this to be an example from the period. There are age cracks in the base that are completely stable and show no signs of repair. Some old red ink is embedded in the cracks and elsewhere on the stamp. It has been inspected by a geologist employing 100X magnification and it was determined that the stamp is in a condition completely consistent with and resultant of known natural geologic weathering and aging principles.
