Antique Musical Early Jointed Traditional Teddy Bear. Music box is slow and plays when it wants to. Condition is loved and Used. Teddy is well worn and loved balding due to love and age. Repair stitched arm and 3 repairs on his back. Black button eyes maybe replaced, like this since I have owned him.. With an adorable face and cute nose. I have had him many years. This teddy is for someone who wants character has been well loved he is not fluffy and new.
RARE EARLY ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON TEA / DRINKS TRAY WITH 2 SIGNATURE MICE – 1940s. A superb hand carved Robert’Mouseman’ Thompson tea tray, dating to the 1940s. These rectangular shaped trays are very highly sought after by collectors as they are quite rare to the market, normally they are kidney shaped. It has 2 well carved early signature mice either end of the tray. It is a beautiful dark oak colour with wonderful patina. It has also been hand adzed to the top as well as all around the rim. It is in very good condition with just some minor wear to the rim (please see pictures) and some water staining to the top and bottom. Other than that, it just has wear consistent with the age of the piece, which is to be expected as it is now approximately 80 years old. A lot of these early trays are heavily stained and warped due to drinks spillages. This one is in nice condition, a good example. It measures 55.5 cm (including mice handles) x 31.2 cm. NEIGER Art Deco Chinoise Flapper Necklace. Absolutely Rare example of well known maker from bohemia/Today. Dating aprox to early 1900’s. Max and Norbert Neiger were two brothers living in Czechoslovakia who made wonderful jewellery with figural glass. Components in Gablonz, Czechoslovakia, from 1905 to the 1930s. They were Czech citizens as were their ancestors but they also had German Nationality. The Neiger Brothers took advantage of the Egyptian Revival craze, beginning with the discovery of King Tut’s tomb. They further added more “exotic” lines, with Chinese and Indian motifs. Adorable old Antique Steiff teddy bear Rare lots of character just look at the face…. Full of character with a long cone nose and long arms. Totally adorable old early teddy bear repair stitching on his ear. Some repair stitching on both arms but does not detract from the beauty. At some time replacement paws and pads.
