Original paint either Kenton. Cast iron high box coal truck with driver. I say “or” because at least one person has said it is a Hubley do appreciate the input! Ither way, it is a great piece of nostalgia. It is approximately 6.5″ wide by 3.5″ tall. The paint is fire engine red with gold trim on the lettering, the driver’s cap, the steering wheel, the radiator cap and the headlamps. The driver has a painted white face, It has a split frame and the original rubber tires. The piece has nicks in the paint commensurate with age and use, but no major dings, dents or other damage. The tires do have some cracking again commensurate with age and use, but are intact and roll smoothly. I have described the truck to the best of my ability and provided many photos for your review. Made Circa early 20th century by Bauer Pottery (1909 – 1962) Los Angeles, Ca Bauer’s earliest production was plain and fancy red clay flower pots. This very hard to find example is clearly marked “GOOD LUCK 10″ on the underside and bears a four leaf clover, horse shoe and whirling log in relief on the curved stepped body with pronounced scalloped collar, a stepped rim at the top. Factory drilled for drainage. In very good overall condition – a few minor chips are covered with old light green paint – no cracks or loss. There are three holes to attach wire to hang. 22 Inch rare closed mouth papier mache early “PAULINE” doll, made around 1840 in Germany for the french market. She is still all original dressed (sewing on the body) in her nice pink and white striped Dress of the period, with a rose at her waist, puffed sleeves (removable for a summer dress). Organdy underskirt, but no underwear, no shoes or socks. She still wears her deep brown human hair wig, but sparse and styled in a bun with bobby pins. Her head is in good condition, with original face paint – but partially redone and have a head repair right side in past. Her upper Body is in ages, nur Good condition, her legs fair and hsve spme patches, but sturdy. Otherwise I can not undress her about the sewed on dress. Also she comes with her original pearl jewellry necklace. Restored she is it worth. See my excellent Feedback list internationally. Here I present this early rare bit worn early Steiff brown Teddy Baby bear. He is fully jointed, head, arms and legs and has glass eyes. He wears a bell on leather cord around his neck, no Id. Good used vintage condition, with obvious signs age and wear to foot pads. Felt missing from one so cardboard piece affixed there, felt on other but in poor condition as shown. Mohair decent bit of thinning and matting but displays well still. Green spot on left hand pad. Tiny hole on right hand pad. Please view all photos carefully as they are part of my description.
