Very Rare Early Antique Three Piece Mold Decanter Olive Green Bottle Open Pontil
Posted by admin On October 23, 2019
Rare Early Antique Three Piece Mold Decanter Olive Green Bottle with Open pontil. A fine and nearly flawless specimen of a nearly 200-year-old decanter. Three piece molds were used early on to allow for more elaborate designs. This is a much earlier three-piece leaf molded bottle. This early American bottle was produced by the Keene Marlboro Street Factory, Keene, NH. In the 1820s or 1830s. The three vertical mold seams on this bottle are also well disguised by the elaborate body pattern and are only obvious where a horizontal or diagonal line intersects the mold seam. A true gem of a bottle that any collector would be happy to own! There are no chips or cracks, and it measures approximately 7.25 tall by 3.75 wide. Antique Rare Early Lehmann Balky Mule In Box With Original Paper Instructions
Posted by admin On October 20, 2019
ANTIQUE TIN LITHOGRAPHED GERMAN LEHMANN BALKY MULE IN ORIGINAL BOX WITH RARE PAPER INSTRUCTIONS STILL INCLUDED! Outstanding estate collection dispersal allows us to offer this great, rare Lehmann Balky Mule tin lithographed wind up toy in it’s original box, with it’s original instruction sheet. As you can see, the outer box shows moisture stain, age wear and fray with some loss to the top lid label. It base is holding together very well, but we do have some lid corner tears as you can see in our posted photos. We also note some pencil writting on the interior of the box lid. Inside the toy has been preserved well, with the little box string that may have held the toy in place still attached. The reins for the clown to hold are there also, but are no longer attached to his hands. Wonderful vivid color for the lithographed tin, and bright fabric colors still remain. Wind up on the base bottom is working… We are not sure that if it is working correctly with the reins not attached. The thin, fragile little paper of instruction is written in German and English. The print is very clear and readable, but does have some age yellowing and discoloration. A wonderful piece that is a rare find! Toy measures in at 7 & 1/2 long overall. Ask questions if you have them… We prefer our clients to have Public, rather than Private, feedback. Additional Packaging Requests : We have received a few requests to ” double box ” our items. While we take great care to pack our items normally, we do not generally double box. The item “ANTIQUE RARE EARLY LEHMANN BALKY MULE IN BOX WITH ORIGINAL PAPER INSTRUCTIONS” is in sale since Tuesday, August 6, 2019. This item is in the category “Toys & Hobbies\Vintage & Antique Toys\Wind-up Toys”. The seller is “farmernancyfarms” and is located in Earlham, Iowa. This item can be shipped worldwide.
