1919 version of Fraureuth “EUROPA & THE BULL, ” Porcelain Figurine, modeled by Carl Nacke 1876-? Bottom has the FRAUREUTH hallmark with factory numbering. Figure measures 20″ long and stands 13″ tall. Base measures 17″ long and 13″ tall. Invisible repair of crack in the tail, excellent condition otherwise. (Hence, favorable price) Later versions have a gold armband, the allegorical tree removed from its belly, and a slightly different tilt to her head. Very Rare Early Antique Long F Steiff Bear 17 l and 13.5 tall non jointed wooden wheels. Condition is good overall Used as shown with signs of wear from age- a true original! Paul cord but growler no longer works. Some small holes hear and there and some minior stitching here and there too over time but please look at all photos. Eyes look slightly diff in color? He has a very sweet face and mohair has thinned a bit throughout but still has life left in him yet! Early Longcase Clock. Moon, Tides, Date, Month of Year. Placidus Penyston. Rare

Moon, Tides, Date, Month of Year. A fascinating longcase clock with a very rare and unusual dial. The dial is marked for Placidus Penyston. The style of dial and movement have features which place them in the very early era of longcase clock making, possibly around 1700. The dial has particularly rare features, especially so considering its age. The subsidiary seconds and date are fairly standard for clocks of this type although the date inset is unusually placed. In addition, there is a penny moon cut-out with extra smaller windows for moon-phase and time of high water. Finally, and virtually never seen, is a rectangular inset revealing the current month of the year. The 8 day striking movement looks typical of those found around 1700. It is quite tall with five knopped and finned pillars. It has an inside countwheel, and the anchor location is lower than in later movements. The clock also comes with an ancient looking pair of brass-cased lead weights. I cant say for certain that these are original but certainly could be given the age of the clock. Overall condition is very good. The dial is clean and bright with good silvering to the rings. The movement is clean and runs well. All extra dial functions are connected and working apart from the year dial. I can see no sign that this was ever connected so probably for manual adjustment. The case is sound and solid with some age-related marks and movement. Dimensions are: height 74 inches, width 20 inches (top of hood), depth 11 inches (again top of hood). The dial is 11 inches square. The clock is complete with brass-cased lead weights, brass faced pendulum and winder. Viewing and collection welcome. The item “Early Longcase Clock. Please meet Blanche, a very early and wonderfully worn antique apricot Steiff bear. She is a smidge under 16 inches and retains her button. Blanche is kapok and excelsior stuffed, some of the excelsior has settled, especially in her right leg. Mohair is thinning with loss but still has a lovely light apricot shade. Nose is missing some stitching, mouth is good! She has been very well loved over the past 100 plus years but is for sure such an early treasure with lots of love left to give! She comes bundled in her vintage sweater, hat and booties and wears her lovely antique mother of pearl name brooch! Blanche is ready for a Christmas snuggle! Rare Early Antique German Gottschalk Dolls House

A rare Gottschalk antique dolls house circa 1885 no 2446. Please read the description carefully. When I bought this lovely house it had been repainted and papered many times. Exterior: The papers are worn having been covered with three layers of over painting. The woodwork has now been mostly repainted or enhanced as the original paint, apart from the roof, was almost non existent. The balcony and some of the window surrounds have been replaced as they were missing or wrong. One chimney is a replacement and I think the chimney pots have been added. The moulding in the middle of the dormer is missing as is one window glass. Interior: I removed seven layers of paper and paint to reveal the original papers. The floor papers are in pretty good condition apart from the smaller downstairs room where there are areas missing. The wall papers in the two upstairs rooms are in reasonable condition and very pretty. The downstairs papers are worn with missing patches particularly in the smaller room. The interior doors have been repainted. I have had many Gottschalk houses in the past but have never seen this one. It is far from pristine, however, considering the age and all the layers of over painting and papering, it is amazing that any original papers have been saved. The hard work has been done and the new owner can decide to leave as it is, do a little more tidying or do further restoration/renovation. It is a rare and early house and will look lovely when full of furniture. Please look carefully at the pictures as they form part of the description. The last photo is the house as I bought it.
