ANOTHER RARE ITEM FROM MY ANTIQUECOLLECTION2020. OFFERED TODAY IS THIS VERY RARE 1906 NEWBURY RACECOURSE COLOUR PRINT RACE PROGRAMME. NEWBURY RACECOURSE WAS FOUNDED IN 1905 SO THIS IS A VERY RARE ITEM INDEED. OWNED BY LIEUTENANT COMMANDER ARTHUR CHARLES FAWSETT D. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE! NOW PRICED TO SELL! Offered for sale today is this important historical Newbury racecourse racing programme. Found in a collection of personal family history papers from the late Arthur Charles Fawsett who was in the Royal Navy and was awarded the D. O for heroic action during World war 1. This is just a snippet of his life where on the reverse of the programme he has written’On leave from HMS Good Hope who was refitting at Portsmouth after grounding at Plymouth’ followed by a list of people that he went with. The programme is in very good condition considering its age. It has a colour front with a picture of a horse and rider and is dated to 1906. All staples are present. Light foxing in places and edge bumps etc as you would expect to find on a piece of ephemera of this age. The programme measures 140mm across by 143mm in length. A REAL PIECE OF HORSERACING HISTORY. There is NO exception. I have described all of my items to the best of my knowledge. You may only return an item if there was a mistake made by me in the description of the item that I have overlooked.

RARE ANTIQUE EARLY MING DYNASTY WHITE PORCELAIN GARLIC TOP VASE. This is a unique early Ming Dynasty (1400) porcelain garlic mouth bottle vase from a South China sea shipwreck. Celedon glaze incised Ming era leaves surround the neck and motifs of fire balls and phoenix decorate a red copper glazed band. Carbuncles inside the bottle and on the base are evidence of its years at the bottom of the sea. No cracks, chips, excellent condition. The item measures 13 inches high (33 cm) x 7 inches wide (18 cm). This beautiful vase is a stand alone piece and would fit into any environment modern, antique or contemporary. Ceramic from a shipwreck is not just cargo to be salvaged, its a priceless document for history. There are no chips or cracks – apart from barnacles inside and on the base, the vase is in excellent condition. Buyers are encouraged to ask questions to make sure that the specifications of the item match their requirements.

In Expected used condition. For an item of this age & nature. There are some historical knocks & bangs. Also a crack or old casting fault. The lid is missing it’s. Top finial but it’s still a nice functional fit for purpose piece. The brass would benefit from a polish. Rare Antique Nymphenburg Porcelain Goat Figure Figurine Porzellan Ziege Figur. This product data sheet is originally written in English. A rare figurine of a goat made by Nymphenburg during the early to mid 20th century. Not sure what kind of goat it is as I cannot find another and it’s not even in my books which is unusual. The figure is superbly modeled with lots of detail and is hand painted to perfection as one expects from this maker. I think Nymphenburg makes the best animal figurines in the porcelain world. The piece is about 3.625 inches tall, 2.75 inches deep and 5 inches long. The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the impressed numbers 618 over 8. The piece is in perfect condition with a couple of tiny black firing spots sometimes seen on their animal figures. Ziegenfigur German Germany 20thC. A very rare large set of six brass candlesticks. Dating to the early 19th Century, this beautiful set would make a wonderful display. Designed in the’Petal Base’ style and of very elegant form. The condition is very good overall with no dents or splits, but with some slight age related wear. Total weight approx 2.5kg. Base diameter approx 11.5cm. This is a perfect Royal Doulton figurine of Mr. Penley as Charley’s Aunt. Number is HN35 and was produced from 1914. Condition is excellent for it’s age and there are no cracks, repairs etc. Height is 18cm (7).
