Up for your consideration is a rare early 19th C. Indian Patna painting, c. Patna School of Painting. Is a style of Indian Painting, which existed in Bihar, India. In the 18th and 19th centuries. These are artistically unique in that this. Was the world’s first independent schools of painting which dealt exclusively with the commoner and his lifestyle. The painting is possibly painted on stretched animal skin, and is gouache, with some gold highlights. The frame is original, and made of black (and cinnabar on the back) lacquered wood that has been meticulously hand-decorated in gold. The artwork measures 12.75″ x 8.5″, and the outer dimensions of the frame are 18.5″ x 14.25″. The painting is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, or paint loss. The watch was made in Imperial Russia where Henry Moser founded the company. The markings inside the case are in Cyrillic: H. The case is made of nickel with original dust cover and flexible lugs and is in excellent antique condition. The 24 hour dial is in excellent condition with a few hairlines. The crystal has been replaced to bring out the beauty of the dial. The strap is brand new Genuine leather. The movement has been overhaul, works without any problems. Researched as much as I could and cant find another this Style you might do better, it has the balance weight and key but not the connecting piece but I have tried one out of another clock and it all works fine, one small chip at the bottom as seen in pictures, the hinge on the glass face needs replacing or just soldering, there is a small crack in the corner of the bottom piece of glass barely noticeable you can see if you zoom in on main picture I have tried to give an honest description please ask if you need any more information.
