Offered for sale is an antique Kazakh Kayak Caucasian rug /runner. Size: 49 wide and 108 long or. Approximately 4 feet by 9 feet. Crude repairs, low areas, two thin areas 1 inch square and 1×2 inch rectangle. Moth damage occurred some time in its lifetime. Freshly washed and cleaned. My two two cents. I would date its age to the end of 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Owned it for 20+ years. Never gotten around to restoring it. Probably an Armenian Village origin. One of the end borders seems to be a bit unraveled and needs to be fixed. I did not see anything like it the last 30+ years of collecting. Not a typical runner width as it is a lot wider. Antique Ward Brothers Redhead duck decoy, early period, circa 1930, having a hand carved semi hollow body, a distinctly shaped head with glass eyes and carved nares and bill gape, and a small paddle tail, in worn original paint. The decoy is in good structural condition, with slight separation along the body seam, a little loss in the seam in the breast area, and a small chip on the bottom beneath the breast. The body has original paint, worn and weathered, and missing to some extant on the lower sides and bottom. The head appears to have old paint strengthening. The head is tightly fastened via an old top bolt. Measures: 6.75 high x 14.5 length x 6.5 width. Rare Negretti & Zambra Recording Galvanometer. Early 20th Century

For sale is a fine and large and recording galvanometer by the noted maker Negretti & Zambra early 20. Comprising a galvanometer mechanism, recording drum and separate clockwork movement, all mounted on a heavy black marble slab. The unit is housed in a glazed mahogany case with lacquered brass fittings. The unit was used in combination with a separate sensor (not present) to record temperature (a pyrometer) and the brass top plate over the clockwork movement housing is inscribed Electrical Recording Pyrometer No. 1037A, 0 to 75 degrees F. Approximate dimensions of the case are 13.5 by 14 by 11.5 inches (34 by 36 by 29 cm) and weight is substantial at around 17 kilos. Overall condition is very good, with original lacquer to the brass parts and the clockwork mechanism in working order. However, please note that the galvanometer suspension wire is detached, wires connecting the movement to the outer mahogany case are disconnected and the wooden sides of the case with some shrinkage cracks (please refer to photos). Nevertheless, it is a handsome instrument that displays well. He comments in the catalogue description The quality of this instrument is outstanding, I love it. RARE EARLY BURR OAK ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON STOOL c1930. An early Robert Mouseman Thompson stool with rare curved burr oak seat, raised on four faceted octagonal turned legs. It has the carved signature mouse to the front left leg. The burr oak adds immense value to the stool, Mouseman pieces with burr are very highly collectable and sought after. The condition of the stool is excellent, it has no damage. It is a solid, well made stool, suitable for occasional or even daily use. As you would expect with Mouseman hand carved pieces of furniture it is excellent quality. It measures 40cm height, 45cm width, and 32cm depth. All in all, it’s a stunning stool that has everything going for it, burr oak, age, really great patina, and a well carved old mouse, a beautifully made piece of early Mouseman furniture dating from the 1930s.
