RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH CALENDAR CLOCK early 19thC SWEEP SECONDS & PIN PALLET ESC. Rare French calendar clock c1810 offered in good working order and good condition. This large clock with long duration mechanism has 5 hands to the dial showing date, day, hours, minutes and seconds. The magnificent mahogany case of ziggurat form with ebonised sections, applied ormolu ornamentation and a parquet type floor to the interior. The unmarked mechanism is large and runs for over 3 weeks. With pin pallet escapement and large ormolu sunburst pendulum seen swinging in the opening below the dial. Weighs 8.6kg before wrapping. The large case stands 22″ (56cm) high, 15.75″ (40cm) wide and 6.5 (16.5cm) deep. The large dial 7 (18cm) in diameter. Traditional adzing, often referred to as’nik nik’ is replete on both sides of this boomerang-club. The top edge has been sharpened for chopping, a multi purpose tool. Meas: 65 x 6cms. RARE ODD EARLY UNUSUAL ANTIQUE FOUR BRASS BLADE TWO SPEED ELECTRIC DESK FAN. 14H- Brass Cage meas. 10D- Brass Blades meas. No data plate present. Features HEAVY cast iron base with original black paint, original WOODEN switch, and original cloth cord with original bakelite plug. Overall condition VERY GOOD as shown. RUNS GREAT ON BOTH HIGH AND LOW SPEED AND TURNS OFF. No cracks to cast iron base. One blade slightly loose and discolored as shown, but does not affect performance. Rare STEIFF Felt Circus Monkey on Wheels Pull Toy. RARE early STEIFF brown wool felt monkey on metal frame with wooden wheels. This charming little fella has a jointed head with tan felt face and ears. His face has painted details, and includes. Black boot button eyes. He’s wearing a cap with pom-pom and ruffled collar with bell. There is extensive moth damage to felt on right side, mouth, head, and tail. Please contact me for further photos, if needed. Darkening, discoloration, and fading to felt. Brown glass button eyes are clear and intact. Missing original Steiff ear button. Extensive moth damage to felt on right side, mouth, head, and tail. Hole in base of hat. Armature wire is protruding at bottom of left rear foot. No loose seams or stitches. Softwood shavings or “excelsior” are undisturbed. 6 ” x 6″ x 4. Antique George II Silver Bullet Teapot, London 1734. A rare George II silver bullet teapot made in London 1734. The plain body standing on spreading circular foot. With carved wooden handle and slim cast spout. Engraved to lid and surrounds with a shell motifs. Hallmarked to underside for Michael Boult, London 1734. Further marks, lion passant and maker’s mark, to underside of lid. An early piece from a rare maker. In antique condition, with some issues. Signs that engravings to sides have been removed. There is solder visible to the interior on one side. Hinge is loose and has probably been repaired. There is rubbing to the engraving. Wear, with dings and extensive scratches throughout. Hallmarks to lid and quite worn. 21.5 cm (including handle). 13.5 cm (including handle).
