RARE EARLY VICTORIAN IRISH HAND CARVED GILT COMBINATION “ERIN GO BRAGH” WAX SEAL. This is a rare Stunning Georgian Irish Hand Carved Gilt Combination ERIN GO BRAGH Wax Seal, this i believe was crafted in Ireland c1838 making it around. 181 years old, this is a very special and Rare Georgian Irish Combination Wax Seal, the Handel is Beautifully Hand Carved with Baluster design Stem and Large Handle, the Handle also unscrews to reveal a Compartment inside the Handle and it screws nice and secure back onto the body of the Wax Seal. The Seal itself has Gold Gilt and is round in Shape, and what makes this Wax Seal even more special is the Seal with the words ERIN GO BRAGH which translate into Ireland Forever or Ireland to the End, it also has the Shamrock which is used as a Symbol of Ireland. This would have been owned by a Proud Irish Man or Woman in the Early Victorian Period, this really is a special and Unique one of a Kind Combination Wax Seal, and is in good condition with just light wear which is normal for the age of this Beautiful Wax Seal, this is a rare and Collectable Carved Handle Combination Irish Wax Seal. In time, the phrase became anglicised. By 1847, it was already in use as “Erin Go Bragh”. That year, a group of Irish volunteers, including U. Army deserters, joined the Mexican side in the. These soldiers, known as. Saint Patrick’s Battalion. Flew as their standard a green flag with a harp on it, with the motto “Erin Go Bragh”, but the exact design is not known. Variations on this flag design have been used at different times to express Irish nationalism. Before the adaptation of the tricolor national flag of Ireland, “Erin Go Bragh” phrase can be seen on the National Flag. In the Erin Go Bragh song, the author has written an intriguing story of five soldiers in Erin go Bragh. Those brave soldiers had fought very bravely for Ireland. Their names are also mentioned in the lyrics: Tom Clark, MacDonagh, MacDiarmada, McBryde and very brave James Connolly. One English captain stated Give me one hour and Ill blow you away, and after a second he caught the bullet in his throat. Rare EARLY Antique vtg French Pre WWII Chess Pieces set Box Hand Carved Lardy

This is a very rare and hard to find complete, hand carved set with board and Box. You can see in the photo of the two light colored knights where the jowel lines are different, there are other small carving differences as well but this is the easiest to see. It is a complete set, the kings measure 76mm (about 3 tall). The knights also have the typical Lardy flat heads and are two pieces on the knights. They are solid wood and the lighter pieces have a beautiful honey glow to the. They are also weighted and have a very nice feel. I believe this may be a very early French Lardy set. The pieces are in excellent condition, the board has one place that has a paint rub on it. I have not tried to remove it. Otherwise everthing else is in near perfect condition with very little wear. Rare Early Historic Antique Navajo Transitional Chief Blanket Hand Dyed Large

This is a large and very fine antique Navajo rug. It appears to be a Transitional era piece and the artistic design is phenomenal. It is incredibly heavy for its size and weighs a bit over 10 pounds. It is quite thick with a very tight weave. The wool all appears to be hand dyed and has the great looking variations in color from the dyes being hand dyed. It measures approximately 55″ x 84″. It has some wear and minor discoloration here and there from age and use but overall is a fantastic looking early Navajo blanket. Antique Early 1930S SCHUCO DONALD DUCK Tin Wind Up Hand Painted Toy VERY RARE

Very rare Schuco Donald Duck Figure. Early pre-WW2 Schuco production. Featuring a Donald Duck style duck figure. Made of tin hand painted in beige, green and orange to beak. He is wearing a felt jacket and carries a cane and a backpack. Also a piece of felt as tail. He is about 5 3/4 inches tall. Wind up mechanism makes him waddle, open and close his beak, and produce a squeaking sound thanks to a bellow inside his beak. This type of early Schuco ducks are very rare, but this combination of green paint with green jacket and walking stick is super rare. Original paint with no touchups. Felt clothes are in very good condition with no damage. Clockwork mechanism works and he squeaks no problem. He is missing a small round hat. Amber-colored cylin der-shaped antique patent’quack’ bottle that o riginally contained a HEROIN LACED medicine. This is a very early hand B lown I nto M old bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating it back well over 100 years old. Bottle embossed : ” Glyco – Heroin /’SMITH’ “. Base of bottle embossed : MARTIN H. / CHEMISTS / NEW YORK. Condition : Bottle has overall stain and wear, has a shallow surfaced bubble, but really there is nothing specifically wrong with it, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. PLEASE see pictures for better idea of overall condition. Age : A hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. T hese bottle contained a patent medicine and one of the main ingredients in it was Heroin, Glyico Heroin. Heroin was used over a century ago as an ingredient in cough syrup, to suppress the cough and suppressing the discomfort that is associated with it. Yet it did much more than that as patients came to find out that they kept using the syrup long after the cough was gone. As they say,’Caution, may be habit forming’. To say the least! Heroin is one of the most addictive substances known to mankind. This is one of the very few antique bottles that we know of that actually has the word ” HEROIN ” embossed in the glass which makes it quite appealing. It is not a commonly found bottle and these are getting increasingly hard to f ind , especially in this PRISTINE CLEAN condition, check it out! This is a nice vintage NUMBER 2 Stanley handplane. This also is a early plane with the original finish and hasnt been cleaned but Iron is used and worn as pictures show. The condition is good a few scratches on the bottom. This came from a estate of a retired Chicago Vocational teacher that retired in 1958. He had a awesome collection of hand tools and was a true artist and a freind that will be missed. 1800s Antique REWARD OF MERIT Collection Early Hand Done Rare Ones

This is a very nice collection with some hand drawn ones as well. We counted roughly 130 but we couldnt picture them all. We did picture some of what we thought were the the better ones. We would be happy to send more pictures upon request. They come in a small book that measures 7 by 9 1/4. Not mounted and can be removed if needed. They date early 1800s.
