RARE ANTIQUE 1800s BRITISH EARLY FRENA DETECTIVE BOX SMILING PHOTO CAMERA! Up for sale is another interesting example from the collection of antique and vintage cameras. This is a detective box camera manufactured by Frena somewhere in the late 1800s. I love its original patina, leather finish around the box, and the fact that it is a camera that “smiles” at everyone it sees. It also has a leather carrying belt at the top that got detached. It could be repaired, replaced, or left as is. The camera is in the condition it was discovered in the collection of old photo cameras. I have not cleaned, restored, or operated it.
