This is an old ultra antique toy Teddy bear. When shaken, the bear makes a sound. Inside the bear is filled with straw. It’s in good condition, some local coverage has fallen, but this is completely normal, one eye is broken, the material is slightly smudgy, overall condition is very good. RARE 12 EARLY HARWIN & CO. ENGLISH TEDDY BEAR c1915-18 LONG ARMS & HUMP

This gorgeous little chap is a Harwin teddy bear and early, dating to c1915-18. This company ceased trading in 1930 so these bears are very sought after as not many remain. He’s a wonderful character, despite having lost his nose and mouth stitching. I will leave this to his new owner as Harwin bears have distinct mouths and I think best left to a professional to do. He has his original clear glass eyes with remains of painted backs. He has very long arms, a large hump, and his legs are set high on the body… All characteristics of a Harwin bear. All his original felt pads are intact with no holes or repair. There are only a few claw stitches remaining. The mohair is quite sparse overall but only what you would expect from a 100+ year old bear. He is straw filled (wood wool) throughout, and all his joints work well. RARE Early STEIFF Antique 9 Long Mohair JOINTED TEDDY BEAR Hump Back with Growler

Early Antique Steiff Teddy Bear. Presented for your consideration is this antique teddy bear. The bear could be an early Steiff or something else, we are not sure. It has a jointed body with long blond mohair, tan pads and embroidered nose and claws. The bear is completed with glass eyes and is stuffed with straw. It has a hump back with a growler inside of the belly. The growler can be felt but unfortunately is no longer working. The body is jointed at the legs, arms and head. All joints move with ease. The button in ear tag is missing but the original red embroidering is still in the ear where the button would have been. The bear comes from a CLEAN, SMOKE FREE environment. This RARE early teddy bear would make a great addition to any stuffed animal or Steiff collection! Some wear is on the pads of the feet and hands. As previously stated the growler is no longer working and the button in ear tag is missing. A very small tear is in one of the hands. Otherwise the bear is free of rips and tears. Light wear from age and play. Overall in VERY GOOD condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details. Gracie FURRY Rare Early English 1910/20s OMEGA Teddy Bear – Hump Old Antique. I honestly adore this bear! If you love very old English teds who are very furry with lots of beautiful features including painted back glass eyes and hump then you’ll love Gracie! Gracie dates to 1910-20s and was made by Omega! She stands around 21inches tall from her ear tip to toe, is fully jointed, and well stuffed with woodwool! Omega bears are quite rare, which is why Gracie is so special as she’s in wonderful condition with hardly any wear except a little light gentle darning above her original nose stitching! She is covered in bountiful soft blonde mohair, has a fantastic hump, original pads in excellent condition (other than one handpaw which displays the pretty underpad material). She has card lined feet, stitched facial features and beautiful original shiny painted back glass eyes. Gracie is dressed in an antique cotton lace dress with ribbon bracelet and feels so wonderful to hold, she’s one of my favourite bears! This all-original antique 12 high teddy bear has arms, legs and a head that move. The bear has gold mohair and straw stuffing. It is from 1910 or earlier. The eyes are amber glass with black pupils; black yarn defines the nose, mouth and paws. There is a hump on the upper back of the neck which indicates it was made 1910 or earlier, and a growler box which no longer works. The paw pads are made of a pinkish felt. The bear still moves perfectly and can hold poses. The fur is thin in a few spots. The right paw is damaged: the pink pad is worn through so the straw shows and the black yarn is frayed in spots.
