A WONDERFUL AND RARE PAIR OF ROYAL WORCESTER FIGURINES DESIGNED BY JAMES HADLEY POSSIBLY PORTRAYING A MALE AND FEMALE FARM WORKERS. THEY ARE DECORATED IN STUNNING POWDER BLUE GARMENTS WITH GILT EDGING AND BOTH MEASURE APPROXIMATELY 6.1/2 IN HEIGHT AND COME IN OUTSTANDING ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR ANY KNOWN RESTORATION WORK. THEIR BASES ARE STAMPED WITH THE ROYAL WORCESTER PUCE MARK OF AUTHENTICITY AND DATES THE WOMAN TO 1921 AND THE MALE TO 1920. Rare Early Vintage Antique Stockman Male Shops Mannequin Advertising

A beautiful early vintage male tailors mannequin by the iconic Stockman of Paris. A fantastic piece on its original telescopic ebonized hardwood stand, upholstered in its original black linen, finished with stencilled branding & ebonized wooden detail to the neck & shoulders A wonderful example & not something which turns up very often! C1920 Measuring around 172cm x 43cm x 26cm. Wear commensurate with age, displays beautifully with the numerous signs of age contributing to a great overall look. Upper surround on the lower part of the base is overpainted but unnoticable & slight soft area to the rear of one shoulder, again, barely noticable. Any questions, please do ask.
