Now and then we find a single of these bracketed floral vases which were used in early elegant luxury automobiles. I don’t think I’ve ever found a pair before. They’re rare to find even as singles, and are highly sought after by automobile collectors, restoration shops. You’ll note the flat backside and the wool bracket which would slide into a bar bracket adjacent to the rear seat of the chauffeured vehicle. Full measurements noted on the photos. Very good to excellent condition, no flaws to note on the dore bronze encasements, and the two faceted and blown crystal inserts have no breaks nor cracks, though you’ll note that the top rims have roughness. It seems to be the original cut, but that seems unlikely given the quality of the set. Very Louis XVI in style, bow top garland and other elements of design from that era. French, in from France. An original early to mid – Victorian black silk parasol with Turned Ebony Handle. In excellent antique condition. Black silk canopy with black tassel trim. The black silk is in excellent condition. Wooden gloss turned ebony handle. Height top to bottom 77cm. Spindles in the canopy measure 29cm. It has been lovingly looked after in my family over the years but now is the time to pass it on.

A EXTREMELY Rare Davenport Antique, Victorian Era Silver 925 Fine China Rectangular Dish. An Antique Victorian Silver Plated and fine China sardine dish, having a rectangular Fine bone China body with hand-painted Deep Ocean Blue Base then adding fine gold gilt floral etchings all sitting in a plain wire-work galleried frame, a lift-off lid with cast conch shell finial, a plain handle, and all sitting on four wire-work feet. The sardine dish made by Davenport Longprt Staffordshire in the mid 1800’s Victorian Era, The dimensions of this very rare fine hand-made antique silver-plated and fine bone China sardine dish is. Height 7cm (Not including the silver handle). I haven’t seen another dark blue & gold patterned dish like mine since becoming extremely lucky coming across this extraordinary original “Sardine Dish” several years ago. It’s in remarkably great condition for its age. It is original with all hallmarkings & numbers on the sterling silver basket, also beneath the base of the fine bone China Sardine Dish that sits inside the basket you will see all original makers stamps & numbering.

Blades measures approximately 0.53 wide at widest point. Both blades marked “WARRANTED”. White ox bone handle scales measure 4.77 long. From an amazing estate collection of antique straight razors. Blades are clean with moderate to heavy hone wear and some light rust. Blades show traces of illegible etching at tops. Coscombe Fine Porcelain UK. Rare Royal Worcester Penguin from Life at London Zoo series by Doris Lindner. Marked with Puce Royal Worcester stamp and script to base. First introduced in 1935 but withdrawn by 1940. Measures 14.5 cm high. Pristine Condition; no damage or repairs; no crazing. As with all my items this figure has been thoroughly cleaned and I guarantee it is perfect. Coscombe Fine Porcelain started as a private collection of figurines from the top porcelain houses in Denmark and Germany. Now 30 years on we have a large collection of rare late nineteenth and twentieth century ceramics from the principle sculptors and artists of their time in Europe. Our offices are based in a lovely old barn conversion near the North Cotswold village of Chipping Campden where every figurine is professionally cleaned and checked under UV light so an accurate condition report can be established before individual items are added to the website.
