Rare Antique Egyptian Revival Glass Scarab Chatelaine, Czech Early 20C Deco 20s

Here’s an antique chatelaine clip dating to c. 1st quarter 20th century. It is constructed of metal with a strong gilt finish. The top of the clip is set with a scarab made of turquoise glass with gold painted details. It suspends a trio of textured chains, each with its original spring clasp. I have not seen such a design before. Unsigned, possibly of Czech origin. DIMENSIONS: total length 7 1/4; scarab setting measures 27x21mm. All sales are final unless an item has significant flaws not disclosed in the description or photographs. Items are preowned and may show acceptable signs of age and gentle use, including light tarnish, minor surface wear, etc. Notable faults will be described and photographed in detail. A RARE ANTIQUE EARLY VICTORIAN RING WHICH IS MADE FROM HALLMARKED 22CT GOLD AND HAS AN ANTIQUE SCARAB BEETLE ON A SWIVEL SO THE WEARER CAN DECIDE WHICH SIDE TO SHOW. THE UNDERSIDE HAS HIEROGLYPHS. THE RING IS MADE FROM 22 CARAT GOLD. THE SHANK IS WORN WITH AGE AS THIS IS A VERY OLD RING. THERE ARE HALLMARKS, BUT DIFFICULT FOR ME TO SEE. I CAN MAKE OUT 22. THE RING SIZE IS K 1/2.
