Both boards attached – generally straight, old worm holes on rear board. Spine attached – cracked at board joints. Front board illustration good. Pages in good condition – browning to some pages (US printing quality issues), and a some pages grubby. Nice inscription on front free endpaper dated 1911. This is in overall good condition and is a very rare early US copy. The spine is mostly intact and the book displays well on a shelf. It would be perfect in a private library or decorative children’s book collection.
