Rare Early Historic Antique Navajo Transitional Chief Blanket Hand Dyed Large

This is a large and very fine antique Navajo rug. It appears to be a Transitional era piece and the artistic design is phenomenal. It is incredibly heavy for its size and weighs a bit over 10 pounds. It is quite thick with a very tight weave. The wool all appears to be hand dyed and has the great looking variations in color from the dyes being hand dyed. It measures approximately 55″ x 84″. It has some wear and minor discoloration here and there from age and use but overall is a fantastic looking early Navajo blanket.
