This laydown bottle has pink and green body with gilt outlines and an oval cartouche at the front in the centre with the handwritten words “A l’amitie'” written in scroll on a white ground. The bottle has a silver gilt screw lid with a fixed bale at the top so that it could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The bale has a tiny French hallmark.
