Very Rare Large Stained Glass Cartoon (watercolour) of Angel and Young Boy framed. Very Rare Large Stained Glass Cartoon (watercolour) of Angel and Young Boy painted in the early 1900’s by William Arthur Chase as one of the designs for a church in Bristol (paper work accompanies the painting). A Chase was a noted stained glass maker and oil painter. His portraits are particularly fine and one of his wife entitled’the Keynote’ is in the Tate Gallery – now Tate Britain. This is a very rare large stained glass cartoon of the early 1900’s in wooden and glass frame. Condition good, some minor foxing. Light reflections in glass only. Height: 52.5 inches.
