A fine early lever wind cylinder music box by Louis Jacques &son (circa 1860) who was based in Brassus in Switzerland, and exhibited in the Great Exhibition of 1851. The eight very melodious airs are played superbly on the 13″ cylinder which has been re-pinned and the comb has had dampers replaced as necessary then “set up by one of the UK, s top restorers.
