Antique Vintage Early 1900s, STEIFF dachshund RARE. Fabulous velveteen Steiff dachshund on blue wooden wheels with original button in ear. His blue eccentric wheels have some paint loss. The dachshund bobs up and down quite well when pulled. My dog is made between 1930 -33 and was made in different sizes. This stated by the Steiff company. According to the mark above, it was used 1925 – 1934/35, ie before the war. Very good antique condition: the color of the velveteen is very good and clean. One eye is missing, the other is the original eye. 24 cm long and 16 cm high. This beloved dog came as new to the family and has been with us for 5 generations.
