Antique Very Early Rare Dutch Delft Praying Woman Circa 1625 Excavated Crucifixion An early very rare Dutch Delft octagonal plate painted in blue decorated in the centre with a kneeling/praying woman holding a crucifixion and her rosery mounted in a typical Dutch landscape – Circa 1625 – – Diameter: 8,0 inch (203mm) – Found in one very large and one small piece, reglued together with 2 chips filled (please see pictures) – Excavated in the Netherlands – – Note: this kind of early Delftware, so called”proto Delfts” is almost always descended from excavations from the past, intact excamples are very rare/not to get.
