A Rare Very Early Antique Noritake Twin Handled Lidded Floral Pastel Vase c1902. A beautiful and very rare, early Noritake twin-handled, lidded floral vase bearing the single blue Noritake Komura mark to the base, dating the vase to >1902. The vase is of a beautiful four-footed pedestal form with twin open-top handles and lid with pointed finial. The vase is intricately hand-decorated with pink, purple and yellow blossoms with foliage and beautiful gilt beading and scrollwork on a white and turquoise ground. A really wonderful, early collector’s item. The vase is in quite remarkable condition with no chips or cracks to the body even the handles are good! But there is a little rubbing to the gilt around the topmost rim. The lid has been broken but professionally restored with the damage almost invisible to the outside. A really good piece of sympathetic repair. Please see photographs for more information. The vase is 33cm high (including lid), 14cm diameter, 1063g weight. Very Rare Antique c1809 Early Spode England’Caramanian’ Pearlware Transfer Print Plate – From The Antony Maitland Estate. Item Overview: For your consideration is an early 19th-century (circa 1809) Spode Pearlware transfer-printed plate in the highly sought-after “Caramanian” series. This specific plate depicts the Ancient Granary at Kakava. The reverse of the plate has the c1770 impressed makers mark, Spode 9, underglaze and blue printed makers mark X. Known for his meticulous historical detail in children’s literature, this piece likely served as an aesthetic inspiration in his personal collection. Condition; Sadly there is damage to the plate (see photo) the actual transfer is incredible still for its age – over 217 years old, It’s an amazing piece of early Spode. Size; 25.5cm Diameter.

VERY EARLY ANTIQUE TREEN WOODEN BUTTER ROLLER – RARE. Dating from late 18. Century, a beautiful, time aged hardwood roller. With its more unusual and substantial longer handle, which indicates both early manufacture and that it would have been used in a dairy to afford more durability. Far rarer than later models. It is decorated with a rubbed planished design. It has a question mark style handle which has turned over sides. The base as also been turned over. Shallow dents around the base and neck opening which do not detract but mentioned for accuracy and which I have tried to show in the photos. A maritime 9 draw telescope, this length and draw number is very very rare and sought after. See the pictures for details. It’s marked Heather, London.. Interestingly this period covers the Napoleonic Wars, in which Englands Navy was heavily involved. Also, from 1795 onwards, William Heather was the premier specialist chart publisher in London. I’m happy to be corrected on any information on this telescope, it has its lens cap and the sliding eyepiece lens cover works perfectly. Length closed is a little under seven inches, open just under forty one inches. This would make a brilliant addition to a collection as the number of draws is so very uncommon..

RARE ANTIQUE 1856 EARLY CDV PHOTO. This original CDV is dated to 1856 on the back. That is only 2 years after the development of the photo process patent. The photo was taken in a Paris studio on Rue di Rivoli showing a young man identified on the reverse. I simply do not see many early examples this early coming to the secondary market! See pics for details. The carte de visite French: visiting. Card abbreviated CdV, was a type of small photograph which was patented in Paris by photographer Andre Adolphe Eugene Disderi in 1854.
