Very Rare Dutch Solid Silver Thimble / Sewing Ring. From Georgian period c. About 250 yrs old genuine antique. Early Dutch open top sewing ring. Beautiful design with repousse motif of hares racing around the rim. Possibly used for more delicate embroidery work. Special Collectors or Museum piece. Height: 1.6cms; Dia. Design shows some wear commensurate with age with two small pinholes just above border from past use – see pictures. But generally round and in good condition.
