Antique rare early Shaker Community bucket w/lid sm diamonds 19th c original. Antique early rare Shaker Community small bucket with lid. Mid to late 1800s 2. I have not cleaned this, right out of NH estate, 4. Overall very nice condition 5. Very clean inside, looks like it was never used 6. Very tight, staves are tight 7. Metal bands are tight 8. Lid does not go all the way on, lid seems to be slightly swelled 9. The meal diamonds are something the Shakers used on all of their buckets 10. This is cherry knob, also used on the buck lids 11. Very nice patina, has not been oiled, this is all natural aging color 12. Notice how clean the bottom is, this has been sitting in one place for many years. Across the top 5.5 in. Antique Chinese Kut Hing Swatow 3 Piece Pewter Cocktail Shaker – Early C20th. This is a rare pewter Cocktail Shaker made by the Kut Hing Pewter works of Swatow (now Shantou) in Guangdong. The Kut Hing company was arguably the most prominent Swatow pewterware maker of the late 19th/early 20th century. It is engraved with a beautiful stylised dragon and stamped with the Kut Hing Marks on the base and in the lid. This has been in my family for many years but unfortunately I don’t know anything else about its history. I do know that there are very few of these on the market. I would guess that this dates from the early C20th, and internet research seems to bear this out. The shaker measures approximately 22.5 cm (just under 9 inches) to the top of the lid, and the maximum diameter is approximately 30 cm (11.5 inches approx). Condition: Good for age, with a nice patina. There are a few scratches and dings, and some minor oxidation marks, all of which which I have tried to show in the photographs. I have not polished it or attempted any restoration as I feel that, if needed, it should be done by an expert. Thank you for looking. Please check out my other vintage and antique items for sale.

Offering this antique wood shaker apple slat basket. Measures 11.5″ T x 14.5″ top x 9.5 base. This piece has the best patina and wear. Has an original red wash paint on top edge as seen. Constructed with square nails. It’s in good condition. Does have a couple minor imperfections on slats as seen.
