A lovely survivor, this spoon was made by Daniel Cary. He was well known as a spoon maker. This example is hallmarked for London in 1612. It is in good condition, there may be evidence of an old repair to the deal. Nice set of hallmarks. It measures 16.5cm and weighs 43 grams.

There is a slight bend to top with the seal, but it’s secure. Original base metal ring in the centre. Seal is a little indistinct when pressed into blue tack, but is very visible on the bloodstone.
