Very rare and beautiful rosewood triangular folding side table by Illum Wikkelsø for CFC Silkeborg of Denmark, sometime in the 1950s. Ingenius and delicate construction, solid rosewood legs and edging, fabulous flamed veneer to the top, the best I’ve seen. Take a look on the net. These are very few and far between, I have counted two pairs and just three individual examples, none with a veneer as spectacular as this. In beautiful original condition, brass hinges and a neat sprung ball and peg’stop’ for the swing-out gate leg. Nice and firm, no wobbles, reassuringly smooth action. Alas the Silkeborg badge has dropped out of its recess at some point in the past. You will see that to the underside. I found a photograph so you know what to look for when you’re out and about! Height: 16.93 in. Width: 18.71 in. Depth: 18.71 in. Collection would be preferred. Please check all the photographs, and don’t forget the enlargement facility. Any questions, please ask. Rare Midcentury Ferrari Old Timer Toucan Table Lamp Early Version Vintage. A lovely example of a desirable Ferrari Old Timer Toucan lamp, in orange yellow and black. In great condition, some signs of ageing, minor marks and very faint scratch marks , see pics. No signs of yellowing or melting on the beak. The lamp is a model made in the early months of production, as seen by both the colour and base plate where it is unmarked. Some internet research will explain the changes in the base during production see vintageinfo. Be/toucan-table-lamp. Still has original fitting and will include adaptor. In full working order, but as with all vintage electrical items I would recommend this be checked over by a qualified electrician. Any questions please ask.
