Offering this rare antique metal tin Candleholder lantern. Measures 10″ T (12″ to handle) x 5 base. This lantern is a unique piece with 6 hexagon sides and glass. The top chimney has one loose side as seen. The top is adjustable and comes up and down with the candleholder. I didn’t take it out or know if it will go back in if I removed it. Beautiful piece of lighting for your collection with a natural dark worn surface. Expect minor imperfection consistent with age and use.

THE TOP LIFTS OFF AND THERE IS A POURING MECHANISM. IT IS MADE OF AN EARTHENWARE POTTERY. WITH ONE DECORATIVE FLAIR / FAN. Offering this antique hard to find size form Dietz lantern. Measures 7.5″ T(11.5″ to handle) x 3 base. This is a Dietz lantern that was as found and modified at some point to be electrical. Bc the cord is on the bottom does sit perfectly flat. I have had it hung or can put in a basket or something with angel hair to sit it as display. It’s black with some loss as seen on the base, has a dark patina. Expect minor imperfection consistent with age and use.

It iappearsto be in excellent antique condition, including no cracks in the glass, or breaks the mesh. Seems to be in good working condition however there is no wick if there’s supposed to be one it does need polishing. Fantastic piece of miner’s or maritime history!
