Rare Antique 1890’s Early Roger&Gallet Perfume Display. Treasure Chest BOX ONLY. Up for sale a very rare antique empty perfume presentation box by Roger & Gallet. Elegant wooden chest-shaped box with rounded edges and lock, lined in burgundy paper textured to resemble Russian leather and decorated with gold-embossed fleur-de-lis motifs. The interior features a delicate gold floral design, and a round embossed gold paper label stands out on the front, inscribed with: “Roger & Gallet // Paris” and the intertwined initials “RG” at the center. Made in France by Roger & Gallet, ca. 7-7/8 x 3-5/8 x 1-11/16 (20 x 9 x 4.5 cm). The box shows some wear on the edges, label, and base. Missing key (easy to replace). A rare early 20. Century paint advertising display unit. Dimensions in inches: H 14″ x W 31″ x D 4 Age: 1920 – 1940 Origin: Paris (France) Condition: Aged. Every now and again we uncover truly on off artifacts, this is one of those items in the form an early 20. Century paint manufactures (ROBBIALAC) point of sale / advertising display. The display is encased in an ebonised pine frame with sections of painted metal bicycle mud guards and stamped with gold leaf manufactures logos centrally. With its original support hooks still in place at the rear, lots of lovely, crackled paint as shown. Just a brilliant thing for any automotive or cycle enthusiast to own. An antique aged example. One of the central logos is dented revealing the material underneath. Worn and naturally aged paper surface. The top left corner of the frame is chipped. This item is solid in form and stable. Very rare sign to find, the gold leaf lettering is some what worn off and should read LASH’S BITTERS The Perfect Laxative. This is an original antique wooden sign that we just don’t find anymore. Heavy rare English antique / vintage art deco wall mirror or mirror glass display tray / stand with beautifully thick mirror plate and fancy cut bevelled edges. Condition: Would have previously been used as a display tray rather than a wall mirror and as such, has wear/scratches over the surface of the glass. Still beautiful and could still be used as a wall mirror. No chips and all aspects are sound and secure, including the metal rim, back, stud feet and hanging rings.
