With Black boot button eyes stunning little chap long arms steiff Embossed button to ear early 1900s. Hard to come by collectable bear. Small wear hole side of nose and top of head. Stitch repair tummy seam and very small stitch repair top if leg. All small please see photos to show. Balding to fur on face can be expected for over 100 years old. Claw stitching to foot and hand pads middle claw stitch loose on one hand at some time replacement paws and pads. Hopefully he will get a fab new home. Happy to post worldwide thank you. Is medium dark brown in color (photographed in natural light, the photos appear lighter than actual color). Depicts a Seated Monkey with a very expressive face. Has paperweight glass eyes. Is well modeled in deep relief with very good carving and detail. Dimensions: 5.0 In. Tall x 2.6 In. Wide x 7.4 In. Weight: 7.1 Oz. The estimated date is circa Early 20th Century. This Exceptional SEATED MONKEY Antique Wooden Nutcracker is in very good condition- there is a bit of fretting to the to the bottom of the top front lip.
