A Rare Early Georgian Antique Pine Astral Glazed Barrel Back 2 Piece Cabinet. This cabinet is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it and then waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina. The cabinet would look well in an old or modern property in the corner of any downstairs room for any type of storage purpose. It would look particularly well in a living room doubled up as a drinks cabinet. The cabinet stands on a square plinth supporting the main section. There are two large doors to the bottom the doors have a lovely georgian moulding round the panel. There is a key that locks the doors. There is a shelf behind the doors for storage. The top sits neatly upon the base havinf two astral glazed doors. There is a brass closing fixture that locks it. Behind the door there are two shelves that are beautifully scrolled. The top has a georgian castle type scrolled cornice. The height is 197cm, the width is 45cm and the depth is 120cm. It is simple’we deliver everything personally in England/Wales. This way we are 100% sure that your item/furniture reaches you safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. A Rare Early Mid 1800’s Dolls House. Completely untouched with original interior and exterior decor paint and decorative wall and floor papers. This house is very old and shows signs of age and wear. If you are looking at this listing then the chances are you know what this chair is, how rare the timber is and how collectable. It is! I have never seen another this early with this colour, it truly is a work of art. The lines and form are sublime, the seat exceptionally comfortable, I can see why this has survived so long, anything this aesthetically appealing that’s extremely comfortable to live with would be well looked after. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it looks to be all original timber without breakages. Height:- 101.5cm. Seat height:- 39.5cm. A unusually large primitive early 19th century Irish stick back’hedge’ chair, also known as a famine chair. The chair originates from the rural areas where a large part of the population in the 18th and 19th century lived in single-roomed dwellings, demonstrating the widespread rural poverty of the time. Featuring a thick single slab sycamore seat, turned beech front legs and ash arms, sticks and sycamore comb. The chair of wonderful colour and character, is in robust condition for age, with one fascinating period repair of a rear leg having been replaced in chiseled stick form rather than the other three beech turned originals. There are signs of some historic worm activity but the chair is structurally sound. Of particularly unusual, large size. Seat Thickness: 4.3cms. For sale is a spectacular late 19th century to early 20th century American tramp art miniature two over three chest of drawers with a mirrored back splash. This piece comes to us from a private estate. This piece is constructed of cigar boxes for the drawers. It has a two board backing which is all original to the piece. The construction is fine and is a wonderful example of early American tramp art work. When the drawers are pulled out you can see various stenciled markings from the different brands of cigar boxes used to construct this piece. Ce in over all good condition. We do notice some areas of loss and wear which is all age appropriate. The surface patina is all original. There’s find oxidation to the wood and the piece is in over all sturdy condition. For sale is a spectacular late 19th century to early 20th century American tramp art miniature two over three chest of drawers with a mirrored back splash. This piece comes to us from a private estate. This piece is constructed of cigar boxes for the drawers. It has a two board backing which is all original to the piece. The construction is fine and is a wonderful example of early American tramp art work. When the drawers are pulled out you can see various stenciled markings from the different brands of cigar boxes used to construct this piece. Ce in over all good condition. We do notice some areas of loss and wear which is all age appropriate. The surface patina is all original. There’s find oxidation to the wood and the piece is in over all sturdy condition. Antique Early Georgian 6ct Diamond rose cut foiled back gold 18 k – RARE. Size of 11.80 mm(equivalent to 6.04 ct from visual point of view) / 9.40 mm (3 ct visually) and is very high rose cut. Diamond has an extra facet rough and pique also has several inclusions inside and is impossible to establish color and clarity because the foil underneath which has darkened. If you study picture from angle you will notice stone is white but appears grey because of oxidized foil. Diamond is set in gold 18k and was surrounded by 8 very small diamonds but because of age and wear only two stones have survived rest have fallen because their place has worn off because of time. On sides ring is decorated with fleur de lys this indicates it was made for French royalty. This is a very large diamond set in ring gold 18 k , no hallmarks but acid tested. Size of ring 8. Face of ring 13.72 mm / 13.5 mm. Weight 4.57 grams. Width of shank starts at 3.28 mm and goes to 2.13 mm I believe but not very sure that shank starting at the end of one of lilies flower until begin of the other flower was redone in Victorian times. Georgian shanks used to be thinner and less comfortable at wearing. Please study all the pictures this is a truly antique , rare ring. If you have questions don’t hesitate to ask.
