Rare Early Mason Chinoiserie Dragon Plate, one of the scarcer Chinoiserie patterns in early Mason’s catalogues, featuring the early Mark 5 stamp and impressed text dating it precisely between 1815 and 1830. This exact variation is a well-documented iece of early English Chinoiserie history officially logon on page 116 of’A guide to Mason’s Patent Ironstone Patterns, c. 1848 by the Masons Collectors Club. Condition: very good antique condition. Flea bites visible on the surface of iron/glaze impurities common in early 19.
