This is an excellent early American double silhouette/miniature frame. Made with veneered mahogany over pine this little frame has great patina. A skilled craftsman carefully lap jointed the corners and dovetailed each side into the middle support. Early wire hanger, rippled glass and hand chamfered backboards. Measures 6 x 9 1/8 with a 3 7/8 x 5 rabbet for each section. Beautiful little early American frame with great proportions. Please see my other listings for some great frames i have recently listed.
