An early 1860’s’New England’ hand cranked chainstitch sewing machine in excellent condition, produced by Charles Raymond probably between 1861-65. The rarest and most sought after version of these very similar looking Weir / Raymond machines. Rare early Military Ships Bulkhead clock by Smiths English Clocks 1940. This is a good solid piece with thick brass bezel and deep bevelled glass. The body is made from a good guage rolled brass, to resist the sea air. Printed white face with Roman Numerals and subsidiary seconds dial. (certainly over 8 days so far). Smiths English Clocks Ltd. Has been marked with a 26. It appears to have had a Broad Arrow over the name but this has been rubbed away. Ticking as I type, wind her up and watch her go. 17 cms diameter at Bezel. 19 cms at back plate. The body has an aged patina, maybe someone has the ability to make it shine like the Bezel does. The face has aged and is slightly faded with time, with some rubbing marks. A tiny chip in the glass at 4 oclock. Runs well and for a long time, and quietly. Wonderful Rare Early 14 Omega British Mohair Teddy Bear With Great Character

This lovely 14 teddy has such a charming expression, and even with his mouth stitching gone he still appears to be smiling. He is an Omega teddy bear… A British firm that made quality teddies. Omega bears are very sought after and are quite rare to find. This bear would date to 1910’s / 20’s He has distinctive painted back glass eyes , and horizontal nose stitching. He needs a few extra stitches. He is wood wool stuffed throughout. All the felt pads are original and in excellent condition, just a little wear on the tips of feet pads, and he has card lined feet. All claw stitching is intact. He has lovely long arms, and big chunky thighs, and a small hump! There is a growler mechanism inside which no longer works, but just clunks and rattles around in his tummy. He has an unusual pale gold shiny mohair, which shows signs of wear and thinning in places. A wonderful bear from this sought after maker. Just needs a little tlc. The tapestry features an elderly scholar sitting on a rock with a student boy petting a goose and 2 more geese around them. The Kesi measures 41″ (104 cm) long x 19″ (48.3 cm) wide. Condition: VERY GOOD antique condition with no damages or imperfections aside some remains of paper and slight staining on the edges as the panel used to be framed, attached to backing, and covered with glass. Extremely rare & antique Gray telephone pay station or wall payphone. Ultra rare model almost impossible to find. This is an early model coin telephone a’post-pay’ model, which meant that the operator would make the connection for you and then ask you to deposit the coins. Telephone includes integrated bells ring. Specifically made for the Argentinian market. With music box on top for waiting call (Jingle Bells theme – working – it seems to be factory made). Wooden stand to show it. As you can see on pictures, circuit and mechanical parts are complete, however telephone is untested. Key of coin box is not included. Original antique condition (i prefer do not restore it to preserve its atique genuine condition), so it shows signals of use. Tall (excluding stand): 44 centimeters. Wide of bell rings case: 16 centimeters. Wide of body telephone (excluding bell rings case): 12 centimeters. All defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described. Rare Early 17 Kestner Incised C Bisque Head German Antique Doll JDK Cassel

Original Antique Doll – Made in Germany. Bisque Socket Head / Composition Body / Plaster Pate – Stands Approx. 17″ Tall – Marked: “C” (only) Here is a very rare find, a precious Kestner-made “C doll. That is her only identifying mark, aside from her plaster pate. According to experts in the field, Kestner made this head mold with just the large incised “C” for a Cassel doll company in Sonneberg, Germany. This little cabinet girl is 17 of pure charm, and I fell in love with her at first sight! She has a such an innocent expression of wonder, with delicate and artistically executed facial painting. She has her original sparkling blue eyes, antique plaster pate, and a very long & silky honey-blond (replaced) human hair wig. She has pierced ears with tiny coral-color earrings, and a lovely diminutive mouth with all original teeth. Her beautiful antique German body has its all-original patina, with wear only to the paint on her fingers. I believe the body is original to this doll. She is wearing a stunning and elaborate antique outfit, with lovely lace, ribbon, and floral embellishments. Her antique undergarments are precious, and she is wearing very pretty crocheted off-white lace socks with tan leather shoes. Unsigned Doll: We confidently attribute this doll to J. Kestner as one of their early works. But, as with any attribution, what you are getting is a professional opinion. Thank you for your understanding. Beautiful antique condition — from a non-smoking environment. She has one tiny kiln crack behind her right ear (final photo), but no other issues noticed with the bisque after careful examination. Also, no facial blemishes or cheek rubs. IMPORTANT: Besides the noteworthy issues mentioned above, EXPECT any antique doll (bisque/composition/leather/china/wood) to ALSO have: (1) SIGNS OF AGE – for example: toned/crazed/chipped composition, minor wig pulls, loss of “hair” lashes on bisque heads (if they had them), not-so-tight stringing, etc. (2) MINOR CONSERVATION WORK by previous owners/collectors – for example: reset eyes in most cases! , repairs to wig, repairs to clothing, touch-ups on composition/finish/paint, etc. Any MAJOR issues — hairline crack, total repaint, etc. – would be itemized above, but these normal age/conservation details are not. Antique 14 early Jumeau hand pressed, closed mouth doll, rare 8 ball body

This is a very early (pre 1890’s) hand pressed bisque socket head French doll by Jumeau. She has her original set brown glass eyes and a lightly painted shaded closed mouth. She’s marked on the back of her head: 6. These early Jumeau dolls were marked only with a size number and they did not have the wide cheeks of the better known later Jumeau face. This doll has a professionally repaired forehead. It does not show on the surface. She came to me already repaired and I’m not sure what has been done but looking inside the head it looks like an upside down “V” shaped repair. I put a light in the head (photo #9) but the forehead has been air-brushed and doesn’t show much. Her eyebrows may have been touched-up but I believe the rest of her beautiful face is factory original. The area seen on the right side of her head (photo #8) is not a crack but appears to be an uneven paint layer. She’s on a straight wrist rare eight ball body that’s in great original condition and is well strung. This is a very old doll so there is some expected wear on the body paint. She came to me with no clothing. Her clothes have been entirely made from Victorian childrens clothing. She wears a very old hand made mohair wig. It is somewhat worn out but it’s what she had and may be original. Besides, I like the way it looks on her! It’s only pinned to the pate so it’s easily changed. The added head band is lightly sewn to the wig to cover the obvious hand sewn part of the wig. It’s easy enough to remove. This is an exceptionally beautiful doll, there are not many of these left in the world. The doll stand is not included. Thank you for looking at my sale.
